Mother of God, Gold extractions!

Cool. I have actually never played Reapers on Gold (just Cerberus and Geth), so this will definitely be a challenge. Anyone up for helping a below-average Gold/above-average Silver Turian Sentinel? LOL I will Warp anything and everything you want to explode, just tell me who you want to glow blue first.

I will admit, though, once I secure that Commendation Pack, I'm going back down to Silver/Reapers for the rest of the weekend.

Also, wow on the time change. That means the event will start at 1pm Friday for me and end 1pm Sunday. While it's nice Friday night will count, it stinks losing half of Sunday for counting towards the goals. That's a first for the East Coast. Oh, well.

Remember ...I wanna say Silencer? The ridiculous 3 million Banshee goal that we didn't come close to achieving? That was all Banshees on any difficulty and we didn't make it.

Now consider how many Banshees spawn on Gold Reaper games (to EXTRACTION). A hell of a lot more than seven and a half, which is all it would have taken for us to get 3 million Banshees.

Now consider how godawful most people are against Reapers, especially on Gold. Also, it's after two months of slowly losing player population. That extra medigel would be nice but we're not getting it.

This will be interesting. I do not have a dedicated group of friends to play with so I just do random groups. I can see my gold success rate going down this week as lots of people who should not be playing on gold do in hopes of being carried to the end.

I was thinking the same thing.  I don't know how to quit, even if we're halfway done with a Rank 10 Hack and my other 3 teammates are dead, I keep using Medigel until I don't have any more.  This is how I have 231 Thermal Clips, 103 Cobras, 150 Ops Packs, and 14 Medigels.  Well, that and I only have a max 2 for Ops Packs, which makes me have to use Medigels more often.

Yeah, I only ever have more than 15 medigels when I've just saved up a bunch of credits and spent them all.  The rest of the time I usually have between 5-10.

I'd make the case that reapers are easier than geth.

Maybe it's because I random map every time.

Did anyone else notice that the event ends at 10am Sunday? That's almost a whole day less than most weekend events.

I can think of two reasons:

1) Better chance for us to fail the community goal.
2) The extra day might mean we get our Comendation/Victory packs Monday instead of Tuesday

Well, it starts at 10 am PST on Friday, usually it starts Friday night, so they just bumped it over a little to make way for the MP DLC on Tuesday.

Looks like it's time for me to get my feet wet again. Dirty Reapers Done Dirt Cheap! I shale get extracted against all teh reapers for the community! I want to be able to carry that extra medi-gel!

Also lol at squad goal being gold reapers. Reapers are the easiest enemy of them all.
