I can complain about weak players (or maybe stupid), because that what i´ve seen yesterday..it makes no sense. Why the hell one player stay 50m away from others ? It really sucks. I took several groups of people on wave 8(almost always) and i died because of banshee. Really, people start to use good builds, good weapons a don´t run like idiot around map (some teamwork !)

You will get your pack usually on Tuesday evening, but as late as Thursday. It will just pop up in the store in-game at the top of the list, and say "FREE" next to it, and you just choose it the same way you would if you were buying a Veteran pack or something. If you don't have it by Thursday you should probably contact EA support and tell them you haven't gotten it yet.
There is no multiplayer status screen. Yes it would be a good idea, but so would being clear about operation end times and objective requirements, but we have had 8 or so objectives now and no change so don't expect much.

Good, my friend's was still ruined by poorly designed Banshees, but at least mine counted, I flipped a ****** after seeing the initial 10 AM just then.

Maybe because they don't want to draw every single enemy to the same spot on the map, and have the whole group overrun, and die in the same heap.

I did three nice Gold Runs with two different random groups, Marauder got me just a few meters from the evac zone in one match when I gelled too late and got confused. The rest was quite flawless.

Both good points. On these challenge weekends with the Gold squad objective, we see a larger number of players who cannot do gold, try to play with those who can (joined a gold match with 3 players N7 between 50-75.) This is because everyone wants the commendation pack, but not everyone can do a gold match. A lot of players who do not understand strategy are in these games. That also applies to the ones who follow the single player completing the 4 upload beacons. When the infiltrator is trying to hack those beacons, sometimes the other player trying to help actually brings all the bad guys right to them (Firebase white / beacon on the stairs outside right by the room everyone is in.) This does get frustrating as well. I see more experienced players making this mistake. I think if someone is going to follow them, everyone might as well to get the enemy focused on everyone but the one hacking.

I had to show a few new players the ropes about biotics and the power of the AJA warp-bubble and the amazing phoenix spam-able lash.
I learned from some N7 1000+ players some great weapon combos and how to use the FQI for Gold. (It changed my life.) Never would have thought the sabotage could be so devastating. (I won't bore with details unless asked.)
All in all, I love gold challenge weekends. It forces bronze and silver players to leave their comfort zone and really challenge themselves. A lot of players are way better then they give themselves credit for. AND a lot of players find that their set up they have been using to crush bronze is worthless on Gold. (you know who you are nova-guards/Krogan sentinels).
Great weekend and look forward to DLC. 2 mil ready to pull in all kinds of Ammo IV ..LOL

I ran with my lvl 17 Krogran soldier instead and happened into a room with Dark Reklaw. From his mic he seemed like an Aussie and he got us through a run on Giant using drones and protecting the upper room. 2 Geths Engineers, 1 Krogan Solider and 1 Krogan Sentinel. It was a motely crew but we made it.
Back to silver for me. Of course I used the credits earned and got the Harrier so I may be back up soon.

I do not posess a high enough balls quota to try a Banshee on Gold. Farmed reapers on Bronze/Silver to get my muppets to lvl 20. I only wanted to try Gold once, since I never played it before.
But yea, sucks that I didn't try a Reaper run.

I would be interested in hearing about the great weapon combos and how to use FQI for Gold. I played all weekend and had a great time. Only successfully made one gold run after 4 attempts. Played a lot on silver and Bronze and had plenty of completed missions. Hope we made enough.

heavyplay, I really hope mechalynx didn't mean that too! I managed two full Gold extracts this weekend, even though you just needed just one to escape on a Reaper map. Only my 5th Gold. Really hope mechalynx didn't survive their first Gold for no reason! PURG mechalynx!
