If you honestly need more than 5 medigel a match you are doing something wrong. I'm no MLG PRO HAX player and I at most will run out of rockets, and that's if I'm being very liberal with them.

Firebase White.  Hold the back spawn points just like you would a FBWGG and then when the Banshees overtake you, kite them around the map or even around in a circle through that back room.

Best trick for fighting reapers is take out the Marauders first.  They are the biggest threat.  Brutes can be easily dodged if you wait till they hunch and then dodge to the side or even run past them to the side.  Ravagers can be dodged if you run perpendicular to them while they are shooting at you.  Banshees you just need to stay far enough away from and duck for cover when you see them toss a warp.  Reapers are easy to kite around the map once you only have bosses left.  Just make sure to run perpendicular to the ravangers, sidestep the Brutes, and duck when a Warp comes in, and you're golden.

Always take out the Cannibals/Marauders first, and then Ravangers.

Jade is one of the best maps for reapers imo.  Goddess is hell against any faction.

I'll be on xbox pugging it up - 1 extraction/team is almost always manageable in a gold pug if people actually use their medigels.

lol, people complain the game is too easy. Bioware created an operation that includes Reaper/Gold and people are complaining it'll be too hard.

I think what some are saying is "Gold is easy.......if you only play FBWGG"

How so?  I was concerned that if the got height advantage you're pretty screwed, an often the upper lab can get over run if you're not careful.

So hold the upper lab.  It's very difficult for that place to get overrun if you have 2 towards the LZ/balcony for sniping, 1 in the lab (to prevent spawns) and 1 at the foot of the stairs.  The enemy will spawn on that ledge adjacent to the LZ, which is perfect for a preemptive grenade/biotic explosion/rocket (not to mention very easily accessible to line of sight by the elevated players), and also on the stairs (if not in line of sight) or in one of the far rooms.

I've managed to hold that room by myself using with any grenade/biotic class for the entire game, as well as tech classes for the first 4-5 rounds or so.

Edit:  tl;dr: spawn control is your best friend on Jade (any any large map)

I like Jade against everything.  There are multiple strategies that work well depending on the class loadouts.  Multiple snipers can hold the upper balcony.  Power spammers can hold the lab room.  Roving biotic bombers can move pretty freely around the map.  Vanguards get to go bats**t crazy thanks to so many open lines-of-sight.  Lots of room to maneuver if things go badly.  You can set up chokepoints pretty easily with turrets/decoys/tanks. 

That said, Giant is probably the easiest Reaper map and Glacier is the fastest if you bring in a biotic bombing squad.  The only problem with Giant is hack circles.  There are 3 of them that I find to be absolute nightmares if things take even the slightest turn for the worse (open on top, open on bottom and back in the collapsed hallway near extraction).

I am assuming the time slot is wrong. In any case, this will be the first operation I have missed because I am out of town. I would really appreciate an extension to monday morning, personally, allowing people to get home and maybe do a quick login at night.

its not the fact that i "need" the extra medigel, the point is that it is unfair that some people get to have more because their random store gave them those unlocks before they changed the cap.

so in light of my argument maybe i should say they need to cap weapons at 5 upgrade levels today, but i still get to keep all my level 10 weapons while saying you/everyone gets screwed and i get to keep my advantage.

i could say based on your argument... well if you honestly need more than 5 weapon levels you arent doing it right, people have beat gold with low level weapons so whats the problem.
this would obviously be fair to everyone correct?

I will say that of the three enemy types, Reapers are the easiest on Gold because they don't have any units that can cloak and insta-kill from said-cloak.

This will be a very nice weekend. Also, I'm currently at 4 medi-gel max, but at least knowing it's increasing is cool!

That's an interesting reasoning, but Geth don't throw grenades - I think that helps an awful lot, especially if you turtle up on GWG runs.
