Some of the matches are so easy when u have a good team other time it's just pure mess reapers and geth on gold they just don't give u a break except for the time u get ammo between rounds :)Good luck everyone

OMG finally did it O_o

Reaper on Jade with full extraction. Was awful tough, as I never played Gold other than FWGG. Also I might not have the gear needed to regularly play gold ?!

I sometimes wonder if the game feedback is on either a different port or address such that the player could connect and play, but the feedback would fail due to firewall or other reason. If the game has no pop-up or other way to tell a player feedback has failed, they'd play happily along and never know it. I really hope they have the same connection serving both the game servers and the feedback.

Okay, let's face it, we're screwed as far as the Allied goal goes. Most players are busy playing matches way out of their league (bronze playing gold for the commendation pack etc.) and not enough people are focusing on the allied goal. Everyone assumes that everyone else will do it.

Reapers are the hardest enemy. I think most gold players are relying on the bronze players to get full extractions, due to the fact that bronze only has like one banshee the whole match.....

 If anyone has trouble finding players a good website I found is called "Playfire" , worked a couple of times for me so far and its alot faster than asking on forums.

Against Cerberus and Geth it was easy, but now against Reapers all bronze players with low weapons/skills flooding in gold games it's a nightmare. Even Silver is not better now.
I have played U/U/G with randoms against Reapers successfully before, but I did my Squad goal only today, because every single time it was either bad class choice, low N7 rating/low level weapons, no sense about power cooldown importance, tech powers interfering with biotic powers, bad  teamwork, running out of missiles/ medgels on wave 10 or all that together.
1 extraction out of 15 games - that's a new record o_O Those who did it on first try with randoms can feel lucky.

I'll try my 2nd extraction against Reapers tomorrow, just to make sure I get the Comm pack.

Got 3 full extractions 1 partial and 3 epic fails last night with randoms on psn tried again today with a couple friends and our fourth kept dropping out, 5 matches in a row, we tried to have fun with it but was a real let down that many times in a row and they got aggrevated and shutdown  so I continued with some silver for allied goal.

They need to cut us some slack with this Operation and just declare Victory seeing as so many of us can't get a stable connection. I managed to get through 1 Gold extraction on Friday night without getting disconnected so I should get my commendation pack anyway. The Victory packs should just be a gimme in part to apologize for not fixing their connection software.

I am going to try one last thing. I am reinstalling and NOT downloading or installing the EC DLC. If that doesn't work, their way of connecting in MP is the problem for sure.

Firebase Jade proved the best to full extract on Gold for me, just did the last 5 games with minimal fuss. I think I got lucky tho, I just created a room and the 3 random guys that joined worked really well together. Unlike yesterday, when people were just running across the map like idiots making me rage quit after a few tries.

This operation's been rough...so many people playing out of their league today. Half my groups failed by waves 5-7, and the few that got further still couldn't get past 10. Someone needs to post a "Banshees for noobs (or just idiots)" guide on here.

Btw, just in case any such people read this, it is indeed ok (and sometimes even wise) to use rockets on wave 10. You need few if any for extraction unless you camp out in the extraction zone, and if you do that, you're doing something wrong, anyway. But during uploads/downloads on wave 10, when mobs of banshees, brutes, and ravagers swarm the group, then for the Goddess' sake use your ****ing rockets!

IT sucks though, cause it's such a nice bonus.

I think the gold players need to organize a system where every time there's a challenge weekend like this, we all play together. We find teams that work well together and stick to them. not just a small private thing, though, but a large system with hundreds of players, so we have an easy time finding squads that work well together. I mean, get us 200 squads, each one does five matches, we've got ourselves a thousand extractions already. That may not seem like much compared to the 200k we need, but it's actually a pretty big difference when  you think about the few successful extractions that each of us has done.

my concern is more that poeple are using rockets on wave 3 (bronze players not used to seeing banshees) and not having any for the later waves. Also, they don't seem to stay alive very long..... they need to learn to stay in cover.
