I warned about it days before the start of the mission, including pointing to a very likely failure.
The problem is not lack of conditions for the players a challenge like this, but the proposal for a challenge that only a small portion of players had to face condition, besides the very high number of extractions required.
A suggestion for the team that develops these tasks:
Just as there is "manifest multiplayer", it would be interesting if we could see the progress of the mission in real time. That way we would know what to do and how we need to play more matches. This is not difficult to do.

Yeah, I think myself and the vast majority of people who were led to believe that at least 1 person extracting would get them the comm pack should still be getting the comm pack, not just those who did full extraction and/or came to BSN and found out it was full extraction only.
I think the Commendation Pack is safe...it's the Victory Pack for the Allied Goal that everyone is upset about. See opening post of this topic, pretty sure it says full extraction not needed for the Commendation Pack.

The Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Hub page could have an Operation Page: "Battlefield Report" which provides figures updated after every hour of play during the operation period. This would be helpful so the entire community could get an idea of how many more enemies must be slain to reach the goal. Currently we're in the dark as to how close we get or far we are from completion.
I played for six hours on 07-13-2012, and put in more time on the weekend in trying to meet the community goal.
These are my thoughts exactly.

They should have got it right from the start, I only realised full extractions after it had ended as I hadn't checked the forums during. I was too busy trying to get extractions against Reapers.
So all the people doing Gold (and silver) and only managing partial extractions for the squad goal didn't contribute to the allied goal (myself included). As it wasn't CLEAR.
I've pretty much stood with Bioware this whole time but this has really annoyed me. Shame on you!!

Then you are a rare breed. Very few did because they usually specificy something like that, either in the inital announcment or before the event starts. However this time they didn't. They didn't specify that until midway through the operation.

1) Agree the goals were VERY vague. "Extraction" does NOT necessarily mean "FULL Extraction". Only clarified late in the game, in a separate post. NOT even edited on ANY of the three(!) official announcements.
2) Incorrect end time. Again, not corrected on ANY of the official announcements, just in a separate post.
3) Given the above, and especailly #1, I implore Bioware to go back to the looser definition and score the Op accordingly. If we had 400K partials, call it a success!
Having said all that, I very much enjoyed the event. More points on this:
4) I'm a mediocre player, reluctant to play higher difficulties. It got me out of my comfort zone. With the help of the community (shoutout to all the threads inviting us mere mortals to join), I got the Gold. Now I'll play a lot more Silver.
5) And I still managed to participate in 30 FULL extractions overall. I really wanted the Gold, but also to contribute. So please don't blame us aspiring gold-diggers
6) My experience in games was very different than of many above posters. I simply set "any base/reaper/bronze" and I'd say 95% plus were reaper games. The few times it wasn't, I asked the leader to switch. If they didn't, I bailed.
7) And 90% of my bronze games ended with full extractions. So at least the groups I hooked up with were doing the right thing.
8) Oh, I even managed my first solo (Bronze/White/Reaper)!
So, yeah, I'm seriously bummed we failed. But overall, it was an awesome experience marred only be the logistics

I probably got 4-5 full, including two full on gold, but my team could have cranked out more had we known.

How does 400,000 SQUAD(S) not mean "full extraction" when on the squad goal they specified "One Squad member"? I guess to some it was vague but I guess in the future Bioware needs to spell these out word for word with pictures.....

This is very clear. One squad member and SQUADS. If you have trouble with military slang, you shoud not be with N7.at all.
Back to bootcamp and learn how read and UNDERSTAND your objectives.
