You didnt told us what "squads" is - like if 4 players, 3 or 2 or even single one (even one person in "squad") so basically, its your fault - You should feel bad

If you as solder do not understand what is squad, then you have faild as person and your squad.
"No One Is Left Behind" was also ME2 achievement.

Reading comprehension requires reading and thinking (both are crucial).

This is what it really should read now given the fact BioWare dropped the ball, big time. I've tried to emulate Chris’ style of writing, but probably failed

Operation Broadside: Success.

From: Admiral Steven Hackett
Re: Operation BROADSIDE
Confidentiality classification: XB-PRIME
Distribution: N7 Forces Only

Soldiers of the Milky Way –

Because of the cost in lives associated with this war, we decided to reexamine the results from Operation Broadside. Upon reexamining the battlefield intel, we have discovered that the first dispatch was in error. We did more damage at less cost that previous intel. While we still lost soldiers, we still managed to do a lot of damage. Had we not reexamined the amount of damage done, we probably would have gone on believing the incomplete intel that we previously examined.

We did suffer losses, but those losses were not in vain as previously believed. While we can call the
operation a success, we can ill afford another one like it soon. We will need to need to get access to enemy intel soon to made sure that our success doesn’t turn against us. We may have succeeded in inflicting damage with multiple races, but the complexity almost lead us to defeat. We need to remember that we are all in this together and we cannot afford to continue old grudges, and we ill afford leave this many people behind again.

Focus on that team work, and keep up the good work.

Just further proves that people are getting bored with this. You can't just throw out new pokemon and expect people to suddenly want to do the same thing over and over and over and over and over again.

This game needs new singleplayer dlc.

Fixed.

Well of course it failed.
You never stated explicitly in the beginning that you needed full extractions.
People assume successful extractions, which means at least one person survives.

You should phrase this stuff non-ambiguously, you know.

For all the people who say they didn't "waste" medi-gel to get up and get full extraction. Do you realize that you can buy a 20k pack and get medi-gel like crazy in those? You are giving up 10k by not getting up and if you do this 2 times then you will get more medi-gel back than you used plus other items, as well. 10k is a very good bonus and it must be obtained at all costs!

I really blame BioWare for this one because they failed to communicate that we needed full extraction to begin with. It wasn't until Saturday that I learned that we needed to have full extraction. So I played 10 matches and only had one full. I really feel cheated because of the lack of communication.

Just a hint next time guys, be specific in your communications and respond quicker so this doesn't happen again.

Not to burst your bubble but BioWare had clearly stated for the community goal that it had to be a full extraction on any difficulty from the get-go.

Sorry to burst your bubble but no they did not. blog.bioware.com/2012/07/10/operation-broadside/ Only says Extract 400,000 squads against Reapers on ANY difficulty, Didn't state that it needed to be full..

Last time I checked a 'Squad' especially in terms of this game meant 4 people hence, your argument just became invaild...

Hey, Chris, just curious if at any point statistics will be posted about various operations success/failures? (meaning the goal vs what we actually did)

Irrelevant, I was talking about squads not Extraction. You obviously didn't check what I was writing about properly...

I do actually remember reading the allied goal as "full extraction" but I thought it would count each person who extracted towards the 400,000, not doing that 400,000 times over. That's a tall order. I hope we don't get banshees on wave 2 in bronze now lol

I found no ambiguity in the message. Simple comparison between squad and allied goal in the message should have been enough. "Squad goal" single extraction on gold. "Community goal" squad extraction on any difficulty. Defined what the squad meant in the message fairly clearly for a literate person.

This is very clear. One squad member and SQUADS. If you have trouble with military slang, you shoud not be with N7.at all.

Back to bootcamp and learn how read and UNDERSTAND your objectives.

According to wiki a squad is usally 8-13 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squad or 9 to 10 if you use this http://usmilitary.ab...chancommand.htm and a fire team is 4 according to wiki.  So by what you are saying then it was an impossible goal to begin with as we can only form fire teams.Image IPB

Ok.. not here to make anyone angry..
I just have a question..
Me and a friend played by ourselves almost the whole weekend (on Bronze) are you saying our extractions don't count because we were only two? It said full extraction when we finished. Worried if we didn't count as a Squad. =(

How does 400,000 SQUAD(S) not mean "full extraction" when on the squad goal they specified "One Squad member"?  I guess to some it was vague but I guess in the future Bioware needs to spell these out word for word with pictures.....

Actually, just one word would have cleared this up entirely. "Fully extract 400,000 squads..."
