Leviathan DLC looks interesting storywise. I will buy it but I would prefer if they released the omega dlc first. what I want above everything DLC-wise is some new gameplay, new enemies, weapons and a new game hub u can explore
Then play the Earth MP dlc.

What if harbinger flys off because he sees leviathan and goes off to kill it?
I think this is what is going to happen! <_<
Oh I can see how that goes.
Harbinger: "This hurts you!"
Leviathan: "You are in error. Clearly it is I who is hurting you!"
Harbinger: "I am the one whom is infinitely greater. It is I who will be bringing the hurt!"
Leviathan: "You take orders from a blue, glowing midget. Your argument is invalid."
Harbinger: *Silence, floats away with tentacles hanging*
I was thinking the same.

You are kidding right? This fiasco has had no visible affect on sales and ME3 is nowhere near competing with Call of Duty.Ghostknob wrote...
No such thing as bad press. All of this endings suck hoopla has pushed this game amongst the beasts in sales. Taking COD head on now. Leviathan will be what it is. People will love it or hate it but they dangle that ending changing possibilty out there and even the haters will bite.

As I've said before, think what you want, but the objective fact is if the game itself was a "bad game" etc then the ending controversy would never have been front page news on yahoo.com and a major focus of the gaming press for like 3 months. With the EC release most gamers (judging by comments on ign.com and gameinformer.com) are pretty damn happy with it. Its the super obsessed people who for the most part act like the game killed their cat and demand that EA execs be slaughtered etc.
For the topic at hand I hope the Leviathan DLC ties in information about Sovereign and Harbinger, that would be the best thing it can do.

There's really no reason to buy any of these DLCs if they're not affecting anything about the main story. They'll be utterly pointless beyond adding a few new gameplay segments. Everyone can get the best endings without them too, so that makes them even more worthless. Especially when Shepard dies in pretty much every ending with the exception of a slight hint of his survival in the Destroy ending, which just was supposed to serve to add more SPECULATIONS as it's way too difficult for some people to give the players straight answers, because of they think they're so clever and artistic when they're making these things, while in reality, it's just lame beyond comprehension.
BioWare have really written themselves in a corner and I don't feel sorry for them in any kind of way. You reap what you sow.

I agree. I chose the destroy ending, w/ the hint of Shepard's survival, and I would LOVE a post-war DLC, but I seemingly can't have that because of the other two endings. There is no way BioWare could rectify this, unless they just made a DLC for Destroy.Someone With Mass wrote...

Completely and utterly disagree with you, man. More chapters in a good book can be added without making the book feel bloated. Overlord did things for pre-SM ME2 that blew my mind, and I didn't walk out of that mission expecting any major repercussions or ending changes, or ending-to-ME3 changes, or anything. I just felt like I did something good, and meaningful, and had a lot of fun along the way.

This DLC could have lots of insight on the Reapers, just like From Ashes did with the protheans.:happy:JeffZero wrote...

Also I don't think the price will be higher than LotSB.

*snip*.
While that being true to some extent, the point with the upcoming DLC is for you--the player--to further invest time in the ME universe and its characters, learning of new situations, loactions etc. Whether Leviathan will give a new insight on the reapers, their goals, is all up to BW.
Personally I don't care for it anymore, but I would hardly go and call them pointless. Perhaps related to the endings, but neither did I play LotSB for the ending or how it would affect it.

You really didn't mind that Overlord didn't meant anything in ME3?

Got to agree with Jeff and Chewin. I mean, not everything has to be related to the endings. It's about the Journey, not the destination. I want to see Omega and perhaps Oleg, and get more insight on reapers.
Never said that again.
I have allergy on that since March.
