Am I the only one who thinks that making a "good" Reaper is the stupidest lamest idea ever?
I´m half-expecting to discover all Reapers are OK guys and Sovey and Harbinger speeches were just Starbrat trolling us.

I wonder what Javik would make of an "allied" Reaper.

LotSB didn't add anything to ME3 besides acknowledgement that you helped her become the Shadow Broker and that Feron is alive.
Arrival added a reason for Shepard to be arrested and kept you from losing Alliance War Assets, as well as some minor dialog changes to again, acknowledge what happened.
If Leviathan adds background information that's fine. Added Lore would make things interesting and possibly spark new debate. Not everything has to drastically alter the game.

I wonder what made Levi turn his back on his homies.
I'm intrigued.
Youn wonder what could make an eons old being of incredible power and intelligence turn its back on..the Starkiddie and his incredible logic and purpose?
Guess Leviathan was allowed by Bioware to choose to refuse and still go on with his life...

IN SNOOTY FRENCH VOICE: 10 Minutes later...
Javik: Commander i have returned
Shepard: Hey leviathan just flew into the sun you wouldn't know anything about that would you?
Javik: I was away.
Shepard: Is that a thruster port in your hand?
Javik: I will be in my room.

If this has no effect on the endings (and no +500 war assets doesn't count as "effect on the endings") than what's the point ? I'll probably skip it if that's the case.
Lore? Insight into something we know next to nothing about? Flavor text?
I swear it's like people don't like the setting!

Same. Unless it adds around 3 hours of content like LotSB did, which I doubt this one will. But we'll see.

You're not quite right with that -while it's true that LotSB and Arrival didn't change anything in ME2 there was still the ME3 release looming in the distance, promising some form of payback. ME3 was the promise that the DLC will "matter".RiouHotaru wrote...

The same obviously doesn't hold true for ME3 DLC.

That's something he could just youtube to learn more about the lore. What he's asking is, "Is this worth my money?" If it doesn't have an effect on the endings then it isn't, and i understand that.

We liked the setting. Then BioWare came and ruined it.

You don't think a rogue Reaper should be a big deal in at least the conversation when confronting Starbrat? It only proves the damn thing is fallable after all.......

I don't understand this complaint. What was the point of any previous DLC? None of those affected the ending or anything at all really.
That game didn't end like a trainwreck and leave a lot of people pissed off though.

I think the problem is that people actually liked the lore and setting from ME1 and ME2. IMO, ME3 drastically altered that by ruining the reapers as villians, and ignoring older points of lore that could have added to the storyline. . . that or they outright retconned them.RiouHotaru wrote...

IMO, I enjoyed not knowing anything about the reapers other than they wanted to harvest us to produce more of themselves. I didn't care where they came from, who made them, or that they secretly were care-bears out to save life as we know it by slaughtering life everywhere they went.

People thought and swore up and down that Javik had to be a big deal.
Except he wasn't. He was interesting flavor text and depth-adding to the setting and lore, but hardly a game-changer.
Leviathan will likely be the same thing. It won't drastically alter the game. It'll add something interesting, but your game won't be "less" without him/it.
Also, the TLK files actually DID make allowances for confronting the Catalyst about Leviathan. But there's no guarantee it'll change things.

The whole Geth-Quarian arc proved the thing fallable, but that was never brought up in conversation with Casper, so I don't see the leviathan adding anything new to that conversation.Sarevok Synder wrote...
