Just a guess, but darkspawn corruption can produce more corruption, but not an uncorrupted normal child?

I mean I guess if the female PC-turned-broodmother and Alistair want to settle down with a passel of hurlocks, more power to them...

Hmm yes. If you take into account that one of the reasons why it is a Warden which is needed to kill the Arch demon, it is because she/he actually has a soul. Otherwise the Archdemon soul takes a darkspawn as 'vessel', seemingly as an empty sack of sorts.

Where the line is drawn between of humanoid-turned-darkspawn and pure darkspawn, is something  I would like to know though. If there is such a thing as a real difference between them.

I would say the Broodmother creates pure darkspawn, which isn't the same as creating a baby-humanoid. But then again, since we now know where these come from, I'm not so sure.

man it's killing me not knowing about how morrigan child will be involved in story and morrigan herself. I think that the only child that will be next in line for king/queen it be interesting to find out hurry up bioware lol.

Fereldens seem much more open about who they are willing to call their king(they put a bastard on the throne during a time of crisis) but i doubt that a demon baby is going to have any chance of getting proclaimed king. plus i don't think morrigan has any designs on the throne either, im thinking she has something far more.....global planned then raising a child to usurp the throne of an isolated backwater.

Allistair i knew this day would come
PC: Ha! don't make me laugh  you? king? you have blazing red eyes and an aura of pure darkness sorrounding you! besides ive already produced an heir with a being far greater then an old god

Mostly because the taint is inimical to life as we know it. It chokes it out. The broodmother has to be totally destroyed and remade to be able to produce darkspawn, and darkspawn aren't "alive" in the same sense as humans, elves, dwarves etc...
