The broodmother is created from eating darkspawn right so she has eaten male and female darkspawn not that I've seen a female one other then broodmother but might be possible maybe that why she can reproduce by herself

Huh.. actually the exact word is 'violated' so it stands to reason that it's not rape, necessarily. I dunno, I assumed the darkspawn stuff was male, maybe I was wrong. Where does it say they have no gender? Do I need to go codex digging?

it may have been in a codex but to be honest, i completely forgot. i know i saw it somewhere in the game or possibly in the guide, and just can't remember where.
