Seems that all the buffs were to the Krogan Rage, the passive tree, not to the Rage mode that is bugged for KV. The health/shields passives that already worked, they got buffed, also the melee buffs. Also I think rank 1-3 passives already worked, not sure though, I think it was the rank 4 and rank 6 melee that was broken.

The new buffs to Krogans and Batarians are almost as good as an AR buff - those characters will now be able to spend a good deal more time out of cover and shooting!
As it stands, the per-shot damage should logically be Sniper Rifles most powerful, followed by Shotguns, then Heavy Pistols, Assault Rifles and SMGs, which is generally how it goes right now (of course there are exceptions in every class - Indra, Saber, Paladin, Hurricane for example but they have different pros/cons). Rapid fire weapons require more time out of cover and now with better fortification/barrier/rage/blade armour, krogans and batarians can more effectively use them/maximize their potential.

2 Atlas, 1 centurion 2 guardians and 2 phantoms could not take me down.
Only way to die as a Kroguard now is instakill.
You can safely just run through even turret fire because even a full barrage froma turret can only take down your shields.
Just run around and kill everything you can even stand still and nothing can gun you down.
It's absolutely amazing.

You're right. I took that statement to mean that they were looking at adjusting them and decided to wait until later. I read their responses and took from them that a buff was incoming.

I know the Brute does a good job of killing itself on Blade Armor quite a bit.

Don't quite understand the health buffs to Krogans? I mean they already have the largest health/shields pool.
Is this because of their lack of mobility, because Turians and Batarians suffer from that as well.

I had always loved batarian sentinel, and you fixed the web..
Loved this, and you fixed it.. so on and so forth..
Only the cloak nerf i disliked, and not even the whole nerf.. just didn't like the duration nerf

The point of why they did this is probably pizza objective. You would want a tank to carry the item, but then again you didn't b/c of stun lock.. now it makes sense.. Yeah i guess your point stands that after removing stagger lock, they didn't need to buff defense, but i support it.. they should be tanky and i love those classes as it is..
it makes it so now you can headbutt on gold (well you always could with kroguard if you were smart about it.. just kinda meh when atlases would show up haha)

A little disappointed by the lack of AR buffs again. Particle Rifle is interesting though. Is there any reason why the PC version can't get patched more often than the consoles? Or is it just a solidarity thing?

The Batarian blade armor change should really help my Batarian on gold when I use the heavy melee spec. Now that damage return + one heavy melee might actually kill that thing that snuck up on me before I have the 75% melee bonus from a previous kill.

The with the way it's been tweeked has become a viable sniper for caster classes. Regadless what some say on here, not everyone likes to use the carnifex. I use it to great effect on gold with my jusicar.
