10 or so. As much as the "it's the journey, stupid" attitude is a major cop-out, it's still got a grain of truth to it. I enjoy playing the rest of the game, and just kinda grit my teeth and tough out the ending.
How many playthroughs have you done of ME3??

Three.
One for the story. One to nab that Insanity achievement. And finally, one with the ultra Renegade doomed to failure Shepard with the bare minimum Suicide Mission survivors (Specifically Morinth and Thane), to see if it would be any different. Aside from dialogue missing due to characters being dead, it wasn't.

One.
After that I waited a month, went back to ME1 and did a Femshep playthrough that I managed to carry through to halfway through ME2 before realising there really was no point as I wasn't going to carry it across to ME3 and then just giving up on the series.

4 so far
Two with my main Shep (paragade Vanguard). One with Soldier (renegade), one with Adept (paragon).
I'm currently on a second Soldier playthrough. Can't get enough of totin' the Revenant

whats the point in doing it more then 1 time? max id say 2 times for paragon and renegadeDGMockingJay wrote...
I did 4 .
1 Paragon 1 Renegade of Femshep each, and 1 Paragon and 1 Renegade of Manshep each...
All imported profiles from ME1 to ME2 to ME3...
the story is bad already doing it over and over again wont make the story "good" all of a sudden
or more interesting
it'll be the same garbage you played the first time around
i say do 2 round both of em javick inbound and your good
that guy is hilarious

1 paragon femshep me1 through to me3
1 renegade femshep me1 through to me3 which i stopped playing at priority earth
i'm attempting a canon paragade femshep insanity playthrough for the ec, still on me2 at the moment
and i might try a sheploo complete playthrough at some point...
as it stands 1.9 playthroughs... i'm surprised... and disapointed

1. I have played ME1 five times and ME2 4 times, but I just can't get myself to play ME3 again. The thought of the ending is to depressing.

I have done one playthrough. I tried another one, but tbh these endings don't really motivate me to play it again, so I moved on to other games.

I enjoyed it more the 2nd time because I wasn't playing 10 hours a day trying to do everything while rush to the end to avoid spoilers.
Won't be playing a 3rd time, my Shep is dead, it's hard to have to watch that a third time!

I am starting to think people in general, did not play ME3 that much when compared to older ME games... Shame really. Not because ME3 is good. But it came to this, just because of last 10-15 minutes of the game!!

1 at launch - met appalling ending and
1 at EC launch - met improved but still flawed ending but at least made game seem re-playable
Currently started 3 runthrough
Game is nowhere near as good as ME2 but can see myself managing 4-5 runs of it.

One play through on the PC when it came out and then one on the 360 to grab the achievements.
I did replay the ending to view the changes for the extended cut but to be fair I don't think that counts.
Mass Effect 1 was played more times than I can count. I have over a hundred hours in just one Shepard and close to that time in each class. Mass Effect 2 I didn't play as much because I didn't like the changes to the combat but I've been through at least once with each class.
However I just don't have the enthusiasm to play Mass Effect 3 through more than the two times I have already and it isn't just the endings that are responsible for that (as I think the EC greatly improved them), it's just the general lack of polish about the rest of the game.
