Nor should that abhorrence of a "relationship."
It's horrifying to think about.

They added one lesbian option, along with one gay option. If any demographic is imbalanced, it's the straight male one; everyone else just has two options. so it's balanced except for that one area.

Its the fact that the endings don't fit into the lore of Mass effect.
And who is it that decides what the lore of Mass Effect is? Bioware. Anything else is just your own personal headcanon.iggy4566 wrote...

Traynor is a pure lesbian so maleshep can't have her.

Well... not quite. Kelly is an actual LI, she just doesn't have enough of a presence in ME3.wizardryforever wrote...
I was under the impression that Traynor was female only LI. Besides, Kelly and Allers are not actual LIs, just flings. Out of actual LIs, straight males have one extra over the other demographics. Hetero female: Kaidan & Garrus. ****** female: Liara & Traynor. Hetero male: Liara, Ashley, and Tali. ****** male: Cortez and Kaidan. So yeah, only slightly imbalanced.
If you don't get the romance scene with them on the Normandy, they don't count as ME3 romances.
Thane doesn't either.Xilizhra wrote...
Allers doesn't get the Paramour achievement and doesn't count. Kelly does, marginally, but never comes back to the Normandy and is a vestigial presence at best.

Don't think for an instant that teenage fanboys were the only ones who enjoyed that. Certainly not the ones who specifically asked for more of it, nor did anyone ask for any male LIs to be shafted.Renmiri1 wrote...

The entire "LI" thing was treated as an aftertought for females hetero or not. Lesbian LIs were in for the teenage fanboy.
I wish I knew that before playing ME3. I usually stay miles away from teenage fanboy games / fanservice. Is not something I enjoy and I resent being dupped into buying one.
oh...well then, you may be happy to know there is a rumor circulating saying they got demoted or somethingReptilian Rob wrote...

Not "odd," it's rather good. Though a somewhat better balance would be ideal. The Twilight God wrote...

Odd that they don't have more considering most players are heterosexual males.
