Odds are the thread was created in a Staff Area and then moved out here when they were actually able to confirm the new content.
The thread hasn't been here for 22 hours. I've checked this forum multiple times since then.

But for those of us who have no way at all of playing multiplayer, it would be lovely to get some Singleplayer DLC news =)

I'm not entirely sure about this.
The reason is that yesterday, when we had that big "glitch" going on with the character selection--every one of them had two codes which had the exact same skills, but minor differences in the code.
But I still want confirmation. This is gonna affect what characters I want, and how bad I'm willing to store up credits for them.
It is possible, I'm just curious as to what the male counterpart to the Kasumi-based model would be.

Another free dlc, words cannot describe how awesome Bioware is. Haters can say what they want but most devs charge way too much for map packs like they do in CoD. Bioware works endlessly making maps, characters, weapons and an extended cut all for the price of nothing, and fans still cant give the appropriate respect for a team that made us an incredible series, and continues to give us amazing content. Thanks Bioware! And even thanks to EA! you guys rule as well
Real reason these DLCs are free is so people will spend loads of cash on Specter packs.

Probably the same thing, with a bulkier frame and no bulging chest/rump?Shadrach 88 wrote...

my guess is they'll continue to nerf everything else as all the elitiest jerks complain it's still not enough.JackumsD wrote...
I'm super excited for Platinum. Finally, a challenge (hopefully). As long as they don't start nerfing everything in it because bad players whine everything is too OP because they keep dying.^This.Millafan4526 wrote...

Comic Con hasn't even really "started" yet.LiarasShield wrote...
Was any video captured from comic con so we could at least see some of the new stuff in action?
They aren't opening the BioWare Base until tomorrow anyways.

I know this is a Reaper invasion, but even Mordin likes sunny beaches. ...And sea shells.

I'm more than happy about the currently free DLC, but I can't shake the feeling something will get released with a price tag.

I agree, but if ppl didnt spend money on in-game packs and if there wasnt such a backlash over the ending I do not think we would have seen such generosity from Bioware.
Still, thanks Bioware! It doesnt forgive the terrible endings and whatnot but this free dlc is cool!
You can never get me to thank the rEApers though. EVER.
