Don't forget platinum mode. Why are people so stuck up about these guys being UR? Do you want them so badly that you are willing to quit the game if you can't get them right away? The reason they are UR is so that people will spend real money on them. That is why we get nice things like free maps and platinum difficulty. Do you guys NOT want free stuff? Without the RNG system, and EA's pay to play method, the multiplayer team wouldn't be churning out free crap every other month for us to play.

Which will eventually ruin MP if they are planning on making everything UR in the future.

You realize if they made them URs you would probaly never attain them all? 

I probably wouldn't, doesn't mean I won't try. Just because they are "sleek" and "new" doesn't mean I have to get them right away. If I get one it will be a pleasant suprise. Thank the RNG system for giving us new maps every other month. If people didn't spend real money on this stuff, we wouldn't have new FREE stuff to play.

Btw does anyone doubt this is real? I have my doubts. It wasn't that long ago rebellion came out. I don't think a new dlc would be out this quickly

Which makes me even more skeptical.

Why the heck do three of the Alliance characters look more like Cerberus specialists than Alliance military?
Special Forces certainly do get some leeway in terms of their equipment, but I can't see them getting leeway to y'know...go mail order shopping with the enemy.

Cerberus makes their equipment on the down-low, using their own manufacturing capabilities.

I agree, not everything should be UR. But a set of 6 characters, which we don't even know if they will have customization options, won't hurt. After this DLC, they need to balance the amount of weapons they have as UR's. Some of the UR's need to be scaled down to Rares though.

no, xbox ps3 and wii only 

yeah those on the wii can go into the nintendo store and get ME3 multiplayer and play just this dlc on there... only these characters weapons and maps

I can certainly hear everyone's problems with the UR idea but I think there is still something to be said about having a character, especially one that's actually carrying the N7 monicker be an actual ultra rare character. Thereby very unique to those lucky enough to have one. And certainly a nice reward for us Gold (soon to be platinum) players once we obtain them? Can any of you actually say you wouldn't be wearing one massive smile to drop into a lobby with one of these bad boys being one of the few to actually be able to do so? No matter how shallow and admittedly meaningless in the big picture it really actually is it still would be awesome. To say nothing of a solid group of 4 good friends running an actual ultra rare true to the idea N7 team on platinum. Again totally my opinion. And I certainly can understand the arguments against it.

If true I bet it all be great. Wave after wave of nothing but Phantoms with Atlas, Geth Primes/Pyros, and Banshess with Brutes. It will be a blast

 Regardless of if this is real, we all know Earth DLC is indeed coming July 17, Major Nelson confirms this with his post here.
I for one believe it all, if I had a high reputation for helping the community, I wouldn't just blow it.
