I actually like the Fury loadout and would love to fall back on it but I don't like how it looks, I imagine the male version looks even worse <_<

God I hate the Paladin loadout. No biotic or armor abilities? What kind of Sentinel is that? That shield better be super good or I'm gonna be peeved to no end.
I would fall back on the Adept but I don't like how it looks at all, I imagine the male version looks even worse :/
I doubt there are varying genders as the normal Alliance personnel have.

The update error earlier today/yesterday had two additional character slots per class. One can conclude that means there's a male and female version of each.

Everyone better save up some money now so they can try these new classes before all the winers on here start complaining and they all get nerfed lol
THIS is why I think Platinum mode has been created. I honestly think that Platinum will be a No Whiners, No Complainers, No Nerfers game mode.
If anyone finds these weapons or characters too overpowered, there are simply no more excuses for them to make. Take it into Platinum for a real challenge.
This is also part of the reason why it wouldn't bother me all that much if these new characters were all URs. Or if not URs they would accessable through your N7 rating. I'm not sure how it would work, but it would make players EARN the right to play these characters. And if they earned these characters through rank, no one would be asking for something they've worked for to be nerfed.

Unless the guns / classes somehow make Platinum too easy, in which case it's a perfect reason to call for a Nerf.

Here's to hoping there's info on new maps, and maybe new gameplay objectives?

...what? Generally when people think a class is too powerful, it's usually related to other people using it. If some jerk is blasting through a lower difficulty with a super soldier and taking away from my enjoyment, how is going to Platinum going to fix that for me? (Note: I wouldn't consider this example a valid argument for nerfing, but it's more to point out that you're missing a serious point)

...what? Generally when people think a class is too powerful, it isn't because they're using it but because somebody else is. If some is using a super soldier in Silver and beasting through everything and taking away from my enjoyment, how is going to Platinum going to fix that? Somebody being better than you has nothing to do with balance. You're missing the point.

Would like to see this thread kept up and encompass all theories regarding the DLC and not just characters, if what has been leaked so far is true. There seems to be some serious meat in this DLC compare to all other previous MP DLCs. Not to mention, a platinum difficulty.

I would like to see and objective where we have one go with a important NPC, we need to escort them to the shuttle for an extraction or we need to provide fire support for downed shuttle to be repaired and ready to go, something like that or we have to kill a secific rare anemy type on the battlefiled in short period of time.

I never actuallly got the point of whining that some class is OP, hell if that person has better skill with that particular class and load out then its thier play style, I'm still trying to figure out what class suits me the best thta's why I've got almost every cals on lvl 20, but maybe the new soldier the Destroyer might be the one for me.

Don't deflect from the issue with your trolling bologna. Rewind before the Infiltrator nerf and imagine we had Platinum difficulty at the time. If Infiltrators are making Gold easy while I'm playing Sentinel, how does me going to Platinum fix that for me?
NOTE: I bolded the note this time, since you ignored it last time. I play Infiltrator in Gold, the above is just an example. I want you to explain to me how the suggested "solution" fixes the example problem.

Because something that makes the game too easy is no fun.
And it's not just "wahhh some guy is better than me"- a lot of threads have gone into the actual, hard numbers, and have proven that certain powers or guns are just plain above others that should be at their level, and are doing so by leaps and bounds. You can't just say it's all down to "player skill" when people have hard numbers, sorry.

Don't deflect my point with your trolling bologna. You're missing the point, if these classes are super powerful and blast through Gold like Infiltrators did, how is me going to Platinum going to fix that if I'm not the super soldier?
Well, using the current issue that you guys are talking about, assuming these characters are the only classes built for platinum, you will play one of these six, and be of equal asset, where everybody is a super class.
