Why not more non-humans...I have a feeling I'm a minority that would like to see more non-humans...

At least this will get more people to play as humans rather than aliens.
Before the last DLC the only time I ever saw somebody playing a human was when they were too new to have unlocked aliens.

I just noticed that the Fury has Dark Channel, which is awesome.
I actually think it'll be fairly worthless in the MP. Basically, you can slow a single enemy and do a very small amount of damage over time. It's like pull with the damage over time path, but it works on shielded enemies, and it doesn't render them at all helpless.
Also, IIRC, detonating it with biotic explosions stops it, so it'll basically make some of the mooks slightly stronger before they get shot to death, jump to a new enemy, and ultimately, since it slows them down, make the enemy you're hurting the least threatening.
Pre-emptive hate FTW!

Looks like the adept could have a more useful version of singularity.

Still no new modes. This game needs that a WHOLE lot more than it needs more weapons and characters. In fact id say that it has too many weapons and characters as it is. I hope at the very least there's a new objective added to the games one damn mode.
Or at least some maps with environmental hazards and stuff.

No, it doesn't. The effect remains after the explosion, but you can't detonate that same enemy again without casting Dark Channel on it again. However, when the power jumps to a new enemy when the previous dies, you can detonate it again.Zero132132 wrote...

This part is legitimately disappointing:
"The new weapons, characters, and equipment are available as rewards inside existing Reinforcement Packs."
No ultra-rare packs, then.
Actually they don't say if the new classes are going to be common, rare or ultra-rare. Just that we'll need to buy some sort of packs to get them. I bet there's going to be a weekend event where you'll be guaranteed to unlock at least one the new classes.

Well they're all humans with helmets, disappointing but not unexpected.
But on the bright side, Bioware seems to go through old armors/clothes to make new classes. Even though some would yell cheap, I think it's great, a lot of other races have cool armors to go through, hopefully they just made humans now to get them over with.
Or we'll be bombed with humans forever, I can never figure Bioware out.
If they offer new powers or playstyles then why does it matter if they're humans or not?
Not everyone thinks "gameplay is the only thing that matters", I know it's multiplayer but I still see RPG elements and I'd rather play with actually interesting species than another human with a helmet. But I know the current fanbase doesn't care about that stuff. Which is fine, I just hope those people never affect ME singleplayer, that would suck. "what does it matter if the main character is always human?"
But really atleast these are somewhat unique, and as I said I think they're going through armor design in all 3 games, which could have some interesting results.

True but the description of Sentinels specifically states they use both biotics and Tech powers so getting rid of a biotic power makes him just a different type of EngineerStance Punk wrote...

Anyone else think the Paladin sounds more like an Engineer then the Demolisher
Some of the Sentinels have a tank mentality.
Okay, not to turn this whole thing into a debate but I no longer use the olden day classifications for anything as they are no longer relevant.
Take an Engineer. Then take a Sentinel with only tech powers. Have the Engineer fight like the sentinel. Have the sentinel fight like the Engineer.
It doesn't work well, does it? Just like when people try and claim that Vanguards are just Adepts. Have a human adept fight the same way as a human vanguard. (not the cerberus ones, there is no difference there).
Did the adept die? Thought so. Playstyle has changed as should your terminology. The adept can easily go without firing their weapons, whereas a Vanguard will find themselves using their weapons more than the adept.
Same principle with Engineers and Infiltrators. Infiltrators and Vanguards have replaced their usage of combat abilities with a heavier usage of weaponry. A Vanguard or Infiltrator who does not make good use of their weapons are just another adept/engineer.
Gun reliance and general playstyle are the new classification, not power makeup.
....AAAAAAND back to the new DLC! Go!
Thats how its always been...
