Arent you people glad they arent charging us anymore than our "oh so precious" time? Seriously. If I have to wait a bit or actually *Gasp!* play the game, I seriously wouldnt mind.
This goes with the Extended Cut as well. I waited for three months for them to release DLC that would explain the ending better, and I thought it was worth it. The free soundtrack is also very nice and worth the download. Or are you stingy on internet usage too?
Oh man, but playing a videogame means it costing me money! So why is anybody here? rofl.
Or we care about our content?
Content in a Free-DLC that You are not entitled to. They could easily make this pay-for or just shut down the MP at this point. The bigger stuff like SP DLC that will be pay for is obviously coming. What more do you want?
You get what you pay for, and you paid nothing.
Hell at this rate, what are you guys even complaining about? Ultra-Rares? Great, this thing that is supposed to be a Rare drop you get while playing, you're supposed to play the game and hope to get them, not obsess over them.
Reused Assets? Great, like 100% of other games out there.
I just watned to quote this here.
The youtube clip you pointed out is quite amusing for 2 reasons.
1) blowing 5 thousand on "microtransactions" over the years is nothing to a guy who makes the amount of money he does.
2) Microtransactions are situational in effect to their usefuless. I wouldnt pay a dollar to reload in Battlefield, I would switch to pistol, kill someone, pick up their gun. My "immersian" or "investment" in any game, from Minecraft to World of Warcraft to Battlefield, to Gran Turismo does not revolve around a microtransaction base. It revolves around what is good for me, without feeling like I am getting nickle and dimmed out of my money. I bought the Gears of War Season Pass (good investment), and also bought the MW3 season pass (poor investment).
Those are the types of transactions (micro or not) which will see the biggest return in a "Triple A" title. Simply because unlike farmville or other similar styles of games in which you can essentially "forever play" a MP component for a game will slowly degrade in player numbers, a MMO will lose some of its subscription base, and "paying a dollar to reload" will be less and less appealing then it currently is... which is not very.
Gaming in general shouldn't be placating and rewarding people for not playing, playing infrequently, and generally lamenting about their lack of time to play, EVEN THOUGH they want all the top end equipment. If you (or me, anyone really) choose to/has the ability to sit and play videogames 4 hours a night every night then they can/do. That will mean they have the ability/choice to get more match's in, gain more credits, and by more packs to unlock more gear Quicker then a person who chooses/is unable to put in the same amount of time.
There was a comment earlier about Time = Money so if it takes you 48 hours to get a UR you are "losing money". That is incorrect, Time = Chance to obtain <thing>. The more time you put in, the more chances you get to get what you want.
They really are giving you the option (Much like in BF3 with the kit packs you can guy to get guns quickly) to give yourself a "chance to obtain" at your whim, and thus the cost. To go back to the money analogy, it really is actually
Time = Chance to obtain <thing> / Convenience = Money
At least imo

(Sentinel) N7 Paladin: Snap Freeze, Incinerate, Energy Drain
Are these power legit? Seems odd that the Sentinel wouldn't have any biotic powers, isn't that the whole point of the class?

snap freeze sounds like a freezing biotic power, since there's already a freezing tech power, this more than like is a biotic power that can freeze enemies with shields and armor unlike the tech power.

vorcha sentinel has no tech powers... or if the bloodlust and flamer are tech powers why the solider has them?

Flamer is classed as a Tech power it counts towards Tech kills and Vorcha has Cluster grenade thats why i said this power set looks fake.budzai wrote...

First I've seen of this.
and i have the same criticism that has been applicable to all of the DLCs so far.
****ing humans again - honestly with all the fan made contributions and ideas(proof of which is on this very forum), its not hard to ask to use them instead of just re-skinning humans all the time.

you know what's ****ed up? They tell us that they will give us a new ending, that will bring closure and clarity.. then while they were supposedly developing that ending, they release not just 1 but 2 MP expansions, then give us the new ending, which in turn not even closely gives what it promised... just to focus some more on goddamn MP expansions....
SP and MP have different development teams. Your argument is invalid.

So we get 10 new non-human characters in the last 2 DLCs, but apparently that's not good enough for you?

I don't know Snap Freeze sounds like a Tech power unless the Character is like a total rip off of Iceman from MarvelTymathee wrote...

Which is what? 3 races or so?
Humans have 2 characters (sometimes more) for every class and they count as 1 race.
Consider it by race not alien or human.
Example - vorcha have 2 classes and 2 characters, humans have 6 classes and 14 characters.
