Hey guys

I have a weird problem since last night. I can't hear the mission commander voice-over. The guy that says "teammate is offline", "get to the LZ", "we have a high value thargets in site" and so on. Some times I hear a word ot two, but then again, only silence.

The obvious fix I have is to repair-install/pre-install the game. I'm wondering if someone have another possible solution. And to clarify, I don't have any other sound problems with my headset, windows audio, video's audio and other games audio.

I have a similar problem, too. I tried to update my sound driver but it is the newest as my system shows.

Also, the dialogues in singleplayer vanish from time to time. The subtitles are there, but I hear nothing from the characters.

Maybe we should provide our sound card's info, to make it easier for devs to fix.

It's usually (almost always) a channel configuration issue. I presume you're listening in stereo. The game is probably spitting out a 5.1 signal and the VO in question is coming out of the center channel, which obviously doesn't exist in a stereo configuration (which only has left and right). Check all your sound card/driver settings to ensure that the audio output is set to stereo.

Hope that works!

Easy to test. How's the dialog in the single player game?
