If I get any wind this actually happens, I will definitely buy this DLC. Otherwise... I'm not sure. It'll need to be a really good story for me to be convinced, something on par with Overlord.

I'd purchase it just to learn more about the Reapers. It'd be nice if it added to the Priority: Earth mission--though I doubt that's the case--considering it's an actual Reaper you find. That said, I'll wait until I've seen reviews about the DLC before I make any move to actually buy it.

I won't buy this DLC because, no matter what it is about, it will still lead to the same unsatisfying, sad and depressing endings. Shepard will get killed in the end anyway, so why bother?

I will watch it on YouTube though, because I want to see if BioWare writers finally made up their minds: Are the Reapers infinite, each a nation, incomprehensible, independent sum of consciousness of an entire species (legacy of ME1&2), or are they a bunch of mindless gigantic flying toasters with no personality whatsoever (legacy of ME3).

Shepard can live, god, why are people so closed-minded?

And just because the reapers are getting commands from a "Master" doesn't mean each reaper isn't a nation, and just because one reaper gloated about being "Independent" doesn't mean it's true, in fact, this DLC proves that they are.

I'll definetily be skipping this DLC.  I'll just read up on the updated info regarding reaper origins online.  Only thing that will change my mind is if it somehow impacts the ending.

Is there one thread here that doesn't have BAWWWW ENDING SUCKS I HATE EAWARE as a requirement?

Get over it. Jeez. Shepard doesn't die in all endings. You can believe what you want but stop forcing your beliefs down my throat.

A traitor Reapor? God that sounds horrible... And I thought the StarBrat controled the Reapors. Plot holes inside of Plot holes. Now I know Bioware will have some BS explination of this but this DLC sounds more like bad fanfiction then somehing Bioware should be putting out...

A reaper ally? Something tells me that something big is still coming that will blow everyone's perception on how games are made!

I came acros the planet in the Dis system where the Leviathan was found back in Mass Effect one. It seemed a neat story about an ORGANIC space ship thingy that was estimated at about 1 billion years old. As I recall, the Batarians had found it, and the Salarians had recordings of the batarians studying it. It (The Leviathan) disappeared, and everyone around started denying its existence.

Given some of the conversation from ME3 (this is a spoiler free forum) with the Starchild, I think the pieces will fit together better.

Interesting... I wonder if the other squadmates will get dialogue for this mission, or whether it'll be another LotSB (which wasn't bad, mind you, but I would have liked it if the other squadmates had something to say throughout the mission.)

I may or may not get it depending on how good it is. Let's hope it's LOTSB quality.

No he can't.

The breath scene is meaningless and is basically an easter egg. He just lies tere in the rubble and gasps for air which doesn't mean anything. If it actually did meant something and carried any kind of signifficance, the devs would clarify and expand on the scene in the Extended Cut, like they did with the rest of the endings. They didn't because Shepard's trilogy is over and he is dead.

And LOL at "closed-minded" people... If it weren't for what you call "Closed mindedness"  we wouldn't get the EC in the first place because then, everybody could just "open their mind" about the original endings and be done with it, right?

Why are people still butt-hurt over the endings? It's simple people, you either liked it, or you didn't. If you did, then you're likely to want more Mass Effect content, like this Leviathan DLC (which I am thoroughly looking forward to). If you didn't then you're not going to appreciate anything new, so move on. Why come on here trolling about it? You got the Extended Cut, what more do you want? They aren't changing the endings, deal with it. It doesn't make the rest of the games less fun. More to the point, why chastise those who are happy to keep playing? Most of us aren't forcing you to pay or play more.

Crossing my fingers that this DLC is free like the rest have been. I'd like to see more free DLC from games companies, though i suspect this'll have a £10 price tag on it :(

lol, this thread.

I'll just reiterate what others have said: Overlord, LotSB, and even Arrival did not affect the ending of ME2. They were still some of the best parts of the game.

I'm excited for the Leviathan DLC.

The DLC will most likely add EMS points that will end up changing nothing at the end of the game.

Would you rather do fetch quests, worthless grindtastic multiplayer or play an awesome piece of story to get your 3100 EMS? I know I'd rather play an awesome piece of story. So yes...the extra EMS will do quite a lot....like give us options.

I would play an awesome story.

It's just a shame that Leviathan, if the leaked details are correct and haven't been changed, won't be awesome. It will be horrifically contrived and challenge the viability of the Control ending.

If this scientist is being held in a reaper indoctrinated facility so shouldn't he also end up being indoctrinated then?
