Why should everything have something to do with the main plot. There are also smaller stories to conclude and insight to be gained about other characters, or the the reapers in this case.

Also with all the free stuff they been giving us for the multiplayer I really don't mind paying for the DLC on SP. Overall I loved the series so more to play is better for me.

i don't buy it if this dlc dont change the end of mass effect 3 .... LoTBS and overlord cant't change the ending of mass effect 2.... but a renegade reaper yes.....

I would not like it if it changes the endings in ME3. I would hate if u could get a better ending than the ones we got through a paid-DLC. Also, it would make all the other things u do in ME3 useless to some degree.

I really hope that they can find some really good reasons why the actuall reaper has gone renegade. Because given what we know about the reapers and the star-child, it simply doesnt make sense to have a renegade reaper.

i think its more along the lines that each reaper is  a hivemind not like starcraft where there is only one mind controling all the forces

like how they said that harby was missing  at the end after he took off after  the beam near the ending with marauder shields, i think that is what they mean by hivemind or like how the borg, but if this dlc does tell us  who created them then this will be really intresting to see if very first space faring race did actually create them by accident or was intentional to use them as away to keep other races from getting the tech that could over throw what ever race was against the orginal race that created the relays and citadel
