I like OP's ideas. However, I think it'd be awesome to have a class that carries around a Warhammer or something, either with biotic or tech powers. Turians would be good for that.

I actually see a Krogan doing something like that lol

I agree and can see a great Krogan Engineer with an oversized sledge hammer on his back. Here's what I just came up with...

Krogan Engineer
Shields: 1000 / Health: 750
Snap Freeze
(to freeze enemies so you can smash them with your hammer)
Homing Grenades (aim, fire and forget; you're too busy smashing things)
Sentry Turret (something to flush those cowards out of cover)
Krogan Mechanic (same as Krogan Battlemaster)
Rage (krogan smash!)

Krogan Headbutt: 300 damage (because you're krogan)
Hammer Rush: 1000 damage (when locked acts like the batarian's heavy melee swinging the hammer like a bat and aiming for the heads if infantry, when no enemy is targeted you rush forward and swing in a wide arc in front of you)

How's that?

Why did you leave out humans from the playable Spectre races? They're part of the Council too. Other than that I really like this idea.

Because N7, lol

EXTENDED CUT: Not to mention, the only human Spectres in existence are Shepard and Kaidan/Ashley. And they're both out fighting significant threats.

I really like this idea, it proposes a lot of content (which a good deal is impossible without long term production) but a decent bit requires reskinning and simple changes to the current state of the gameplay that kind of thing is really useful when it comes to extending the life of a game with such dedicated fans.

That being said I don't think putting Dominate as a power in the multiplayer would work out very well. We already had to nerf the utter heck out of Sabotage for that same reason, it was easily abused to make difficult gameplay near automated with little input from the player.

Of course I do enjoy the idea of more alien classes in the game. I feel like the current set of Asari and Turian units are a little weak. Turians in particular feel incredibly weak considering the amount of lore their military has. The inclusion of spectre units could give a way for the multiplayer to have access to Alien units similar to the N7 series. On the opposite end of the spectrum I'd enjoy the use of specialist classes such as Shadow Broker Assassin or Mercenary Trooper as either of these could be any race the developer wanted for the class.

As for new weapons I'd love to see the AT12 in multiplayer and not nerfed to hell as the earlier thread about it proposed (dropping the damage by half isn't nerfing it's effectively removing it from use) Just lower the damage by maybe 5-10 points and keep the spread as it is making it a true scattergun unlike the Crusader as the opposite end of the shotgun spectrum being high accuracy. This creates a good top of the line for shotguns with the Claymore being high damage,High weight, low clip. Crusader being good damage, good accuracy, moderate weight, and the Raider being good damage, good weight, low accuracy.

As for new Rifles, honestly they'd need to be good to compete with the current crop. Harrier blows a lot of them out of the water as is. Snipers as well because at a certain point the top tier rifles just overtake them all.

Dude, I'd love to see Slam or Barrier for the biotic classes, that gives them a lot of playablity compared to combat classes. Give the adept a barrier and he can be as effective as a vanguard in combat if played carefully.

At any rate, this is a good concept and I hope the Bioware team gives it some thought though it's pretty late in ME3's lifecycle.

I like all these ideas, except the human spectre class one. I mean there are only supposed to be two: Shepard and Ashley/Kaidan. Apart from that though, all good.
One question though. How will the heavy weapons be used (the M-490 BlackStorm)?

I do have an idea though that I hope you can incorporate to yours, basically a new game mode.
I’m not sure what it should be called, but basically you need to kill a Reaper.

Some basic info:
- 8 to 12 players.
- The field is long, rather than wide, kind of like the last single player mission when Shepard runs towards the Reaper. There is however more room to move and take cover where you are dropped off, and a bit of cover all along the way towards the Reaper.
- The team is dropped on one end, the Reaper is on the other. Run too far ahead and the player gets killed by the Reaper’s beam. Can be revived by others or use medigel, but will risk others getting killed by the beam too, as well as attacked by incoming enemies.
- Enemies run towards you from the Reaper.
- There are no waves like the traditional MP game mode; it’s continuous, with from the beginning already a full range of the possible reaper enemies to come, from husks to Banshees.
- The ratio of enemies is kept throughout the game, and the same for every difficulty. For example: 30% Husks, 30% Cannibals, 20% Marauders, 6% Ravagers, 7% Brutes, 7% Banshees. This is just an example.
- The difficulty determines the amount of enemies present at once on the battlefield. So while the ratio of enemy types is the same for every difficulty, the total amount of enemies running towards you varies.
- Completing objectives earns you credits, and will revive those who died and did not use medigel or couldn’t be revived in time (since there are no waves). It would be more fun and challenging and set more tension without any auto revives, but if the host dies and leaves the game out of boredom, it will ruin it for everyone else.
- If the host leaves, the team restarts from the last objective.

The scenario:
- Team is dropped off from a small stealthy craft. As soon as the team touches the ground, enemies run towards you from the Reaper.
- After a few minutes comes the first objective. Players have to set up 2 or 4 signal jammers to limit the range of the Reaper’s beam as well as allow other support vehicles to come in later without getting detected by the Reaper. Players had to wait to set up the signal jammers to let the transport vehicle retreat to a safe distance from the jammers.
- After a few minutes comes the second objective: an airdrop comes in to supply charges to set up behind you. Charges are numerous, but very fast to set up. They have to be picked like the retrieve objectives from the traditional MP mode, however. When all are set, charges are blown, making trenches to stop the enemy from attacking support vehicles that will come later.
- After a few minutes, support vehicles unaffected by the jammers come in and take time to set up 2 or 3 turrets (like the ones found in single player) to be controlled by players.
- As soon as turrets are set up, support vehicles start suppressing fire on the Reaper, making it unable to fire the beam, but not doing any real damage. This is to allow players to advance towards the reapers. 2 players can take a turret each to support other advancing players by killing incoming enemies.
- Third and final objective: advancing players must escort a small vehicle carrying a bomb in the same way escort missions are done in the current MP mode. However, only one player needs to be in the hack circle, and the vehicle will follow that player wherever he or she goes, and at the player’s speed. If the player stays in place, so will the bomb. If the player runs, the bomb will follow at that speed. The “escort driver” is whoever steps in the circle first. If the driver dies, then the next live player to step in the circle becomes the driver. Note: still has full extent of the character’s moves (taking cover, dodging, shooting, using powers, etc.)
- Once the escort driver is close enough the bomb is dropped and the players have to go back to the starting point for extraction by the support vehicles. They have a limited time.

As for maps they have to be made specifically for this game mode, so I’m thinking of places where Reapers are invading, like Earth and Palaven.

What do you guys think?

About: Asari Spectre: class Vanguard

Even a spectre can't be allowed to kill innocents to feed a ever growing addiction -- and yes, they'll develop sosiopathy and apathy, which makes them horrible team players. You think the asari would let the very shame of their species serve the council?

I'm not sure if it has a damage effect on it in sp, but perhaps it would break once the target has taken a certain amount of damage, like Stasis? If they included a warp effect, the duration of the power would be even shorter. They could limit it futher to have no effect on armoured targets?

I'd like to see and play some new co-op modes. Something like VIP (Protecting one person piloting a atlas thru a long map) or some kind of team work thing (like the part of gears 2 when Marcus and Dom had to carry a box together)

Explain Dominate then, which is an abillity gained after a lot of A-Y feeding.

The power is unlocked in ME3 when you complete Leviathan. Shepard can aquire it, why not other biotics?

That is someone not knowing jack **** about the lore making it. Reave is as well, despite being a intricate biotic abillity I doubt humans live long enough to train. The extra abillities go agaisnt lore.

Kaiden, if you saved him in ME1 has Reave in ME3, and the lore on Ardat Yakshi got shattered long before this, so does it really matter

Firebase Detroit. Hahaha! That would be easy they could just take a picture of it right now wouldn't have to change a thing! easiest map ever made!

Note: I am from Michigan I can say whatever i want about The D.

Also, if they put in the D, they need authentic southern Michigan music. Ted Nugent, Bob Seger, Alice Cooper, Etc. as background music for that map, you know for realisim, because they may be old, and by the time of ME dead, but the rock NEVER DIES!
