I really would have liked both in the game and in MP for Spectres to be more front and center. They are really underutilized characters. At most, it only ever allowed Shepard to buy different weapons, make some random decisions, and intimidate the customs lady on the Citadel.

Including spectres would allow for a lot of other alien races and Blasto - honestly that would be genius.

ULTRA RARE Characters

Hard to get, considerably more potential than others, however to balance it out they require more exp to level up.

Geth Commando (Soldier)

HP: 500
Shield: 1000

Unlike normal troopers, Geth Commando are special platforms that are deployed for mission-critical operations. Thus, they are built to be considerably more durable.

Skills: Proximity Mine, Hunter Mode, Defense Matrix (decrease damage taken but slows power use. Restore shields when purged), Networked AI, Advanced Hardware.

Drell Assaassin (Infiltrator)

HP: 500
Shield: 250

Has 10% extra movement speed compared to regular drell.
New melee animation: A quick slash with omni-blade. 50% more damage than standard melee.
New heavy melee animation: A fierce stomach stab then a slash at the neck with omni-blade. 50% more damage than standard melee.

There are no shortage of drell mercenaries, however trully skilled assassins are few, especially at these critical times. Their speed and expertise in infiltration is matched by few, and exceeded by none.

Skills: Tactical Cloak, Hold Breath (+50% damage for 5 seconds or until reload, whichever earlier. Does not break cloak), Sticky Grenade, Drell Assassin, Fitness

Asari Spectre (Vanguard)

HP: 500
Shield: 750

Asari Spectre are experts in biotic manipulations, even among their own kind. They are even more scant than Justicars and thus are rarely seen, but now with the reaper threat they can be found wherever the enemy is at their strongest.

New melee animation: A fast biotic wave. Front AOE.
New heavy melee animation: Biotic punch to the ground sends out a shockwave in all direction. Doubles the speed of normal asari variant.

Skills: Biotic Charge, Dark Singularity (like normal but can slow armor or shielded units), Barrier, Spectre Training (rank 6 either reduce weight + power damage or weapon damage + ROF), Fitness

Human Spectre (Adapt)

HP: 750
Shield: 750

Quite a number of humans with powerful biotic capabilities had been appointed to Spectre status in the face of the reaper threat. They are equipped with experimental, non-mass produced implants that exceed most asari in biotic power.

Able to perform biotic dash similar to asari.

Skills: Warp, Shockwave, Biotic Burst (Warp and Shockwave has one second cooldown for 6 seconds, during which movement speed reduced 25%. Can deactivate anytime), Spectre Training, Fitness.

Turian Mechanic (Engineer)

HP: 500
Shield: 750

Turian Mechanic are the backbone of the turian military, maintaining and improving the fleet weaponry and defenses constantly. However, with the reaper threat arriving many of them has received military training, thus making them as formidable in combat but also a strong support in any situation.

New heavy melee animation: Electric shockwave spawn from the feet. AOE.

Skills: Taser (melee range skill, bonus damage against shield, basic trooper immobilised and heavy unit slowed), Incinerate, Cryo Grenade, Turian Mechanic (decrease shotgun instead of AR weight), Fitness.

Project Phoenix (Sentinel)

HP: 1000
Shield:1000

A different approach to human advancement is that while most phoenixes are designed for offensive capabilities, this particular project focuses on channeling biotic power towards the subject itself. Thus, the result is an exceedingly tough soldier that matches the krogans in strength but has far more agility.

New heavy melee animation: A straight punch that knocks the victim away in similar force to krogan melee.

Skills: Biotic Shield (increase shield capacity by 50%, increase melee by 50%, decrease movement by 25%), Smash, Bind (use the lash to bind the enemy together with himself. Armor and shielded units can still attack. Lasts 15 seconds. Can deactivate anytime), Phoenix Training, Fitness.

these characters sound good, but the Human Spectre Adept wouldn't work

I think spectres would work well using the three council races as they already cover all the classes. Spectre turian soldier and sentinel, asari adept and vanguard, salarian infiltrator and engineer.

Earth was the last and final staging ground in the ME3 storyline. I find it unlikely that they would open up any other major theatres of conflict.

While I think spectre characters would be an interesting mix to add to the scene I'd personally like to see these races fill these class slots.

Adept : Prothean
Soldier : ? (undecided)
Engineer: Turian
Sentinel: Asari
Infiltrator: Turian
Vanguard: Prothean.

Unfortunately, there's only one single Prothean in ME3, so MP cant have them. Asari generally aren't very good in tech since their race rely on biotics. But turian engineer and infiltrator is a good idea.

Why? Humans are proven to be very capable in biotics as well as any other skills. Spectre doesn't mean they have to be soldiers or infiltrators.

here are the powers they could have, also by RasenRebirth

Asari Spectre: class Sentinel, Powers Tech Armor, Cluster Grenade, Dominate, Spectre Training, Fitness. Appearance armor like Tela from ME2 with a Justicar head piece.

Asari Spectre: class Engineer, Powers: Defense Drone, Energy Drain, Warp Grenade (grenade with warp damage.) Spectre Training, Fitness.

Turian Spectre: class Vanguard: Powers Biotic Charge, Salvo, Turian Blade ( pulls out the rarely mentioned Turain blade from Mass Effect 2 off back and horizontally swings it.) Spectre Training, Fitness. The appearance is the Turian Phantom armor from ME1 and war paint.

Female Turian Spectre: class Infiltrator, Power: Tactical Cloak, Turian Blade, Arc Grenade, Spectre Training, Fitness. (Can hop to dodge. Garrus did state female have flexibility.)

Salarian Spectre: class Soldier, Powers: Carnage, Flash Bang, Hold Line (Salarain modifies gun to fire twice as fast and double defense.) Spectre Trainning, Fitness. Appearance same as other Salarian armor but with tech shoulder armor and a Capacitor helmet.

Salarian Spectre: class Adept, Powers: Warp, Reave, Biotic Mine (A biotic mine similar to proximity mine but with a lift effect.) Spectre Training, Fitness.

Dominate is only used by Ardat-Yakshi, normal asari cant.

Asari Enginner is nice, but asari are known for their biotic prowess so an asari engineer can't be a spectre since a spectre need to represent the race.

Turians can have limited biotic powers from implants, but not so much that they can perform biotic charge. Biotic charge is an advance form of biotic utilization that's simply not possible from turians.

Female turian infiltrator is nice. Wish they have it.

Salarian soldier is nice too, but the Hold Line skill is a bit imba unless you reduce movement speed while active.

Salarians cant be fitted with biotic implants. Their body is simply too weak.

For starters, there can always be more protheans found so you cant rule them out. Another facility can be found for all we know considering the prothean empire covered the vast majority of the galaxy, which isnt entirely explored by the current cycle. Javik doesnt even know every thing so dont even consider using anything he says as an argument.

Also you cant say Asari arent good w/ tech since pretty much every race is good w/ it considering they all use it. Asari were the first of the current races to develop eezo tech thus have had it the longest to develop with; they probably have a lot more advances then a lot of the others in tech. Asari Sentinels already make apperances as eclipse in ME2 so they do make sense.

Last but not least...

Who cares about lore when it comes to having fun in the game? I mean really; they have a working character model & if it adds fun who cares? They already broke lore plenty enough so it doesnt completely factor in anyway.
