I think RPG GOTY should go to either Dragon age: Origins or Demon's Souls. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story... what a shocking choice, this is low, even for G4's standards.

For PC GOTY from IGN it was Braid, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Empire: Total War, Left 4 Dead 2, and Dragon Age

For PC RPG it was Dragon Age, Risen, and Torchlight.

Really there just wasn't much this year in terms of RPGs period...

Next year should be fun, seeing Mass Effect 2 go up against Final Fantasy XIII

Persona is a PSP..Devil Survivor was a DS game...And yeah but...so people are saying Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story was better than Dragon Age: Origins...and even better yet...Demon's Souls???? Think about that one, that is what G4 just said to everyone.

I've played it and surely it shouldn't of beat Dragon Age or Demon's Souls...and even shouldn't of beat Torchlight or Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor..

Ahh, thank you for the clarification. I think most people agree G4 must have just been going for shock value or something. Even Torchlight, which wasn't very "deep" or complex, could suck you in for hours and hours.

Your welcome...and yeah, if they were, they achieved it. As for Torchlight...the first day it came out, I didn't sleep really...lol

G4 airs some of the most insightful, entertaining, intelligent, legit, and believable content I've ever seen with regard to the gaming industry. Their on-screen personalities are interesting and soothing to watch and listen to.

I used to be a loyal fan of X-Play, but after this.. mistake, I can't anymore. I bought games because they gave it a good rating.. I question some of those purcheses now.

Telling something in more detail is not the same thing as telling it better, despite what one might think.

Yeah.  I look no further then Assassin's Creed.  Sure the game looks awesome and is fun for the 1st.. 30 mins, but after that, it's like every other slasher..  Ninja Gaiden 2 is another horrid game.  I know it's hard, and I expected that.  But there were other issues with the game that bothered me.

DAO has done so well on reviews that I don't think it matters much whether it got this small title or not.



For the average or casual player, the story progress of DAO has great depth; but the story progress lacks momentum.

X-Play is really lame, they all but ignore PC gaming and opt to shill for PS3 and Wii. Seriously, when I saw that Webb skank saying we as gamers need to buy all 3 consoles (and handhelds- no mention of PC) I wanted to reach through the screen and lick her nipples.

G4 has no credibility. They have joined the hipster faction trying to push fantasy/scifi rpg nerds out of the entertainment and gaming world.

I stopped watching G4 when the only thing that was on was Attack of the Show which is stupid since all they do is post your common funny youtube video. Somehow make the female host ( I forgot her name) look like some sort of sex godess. Combine that with a little of gaming news and an ass load of internet history which I don't give a crap about. Another reason I stopped watching is because of stupid shows like Cheaters and Cops ( Which I can watch on other channels like TruTv). Seriously the only thing I sometimes bother to watch is Xplay since thats basically the only thing on there that airs reguraly ONLY ABOUT VIDEOGAMES, WHICH IS WHAT THE CHANNEL WAS BUILT FOR.........VIDEOGAMES and video game news. Oh and that thing called "Movies That Don'T Suck." half of those movies actually do suck.
