Hey All,

I cannot download the newest DLC Extended cut, I've tried as much as I could before going on these forums lemme lay down some facts.

• The bar whenever I begin downloading Extended Cut remains stuck on preparing or goes to 0% and sits there calculating.
• I have downloaded three other DLCs including From Ashes
• Every now and then it automatically starts downloading Mass Effect 3, even though it's already installed and downloaded
• I can connect to Galaxy map on my iphone with ME3 Datapad and Infiltrator
• Can play Mass Effect 3 with no problems, but I have to be offline to do so 
• If not then it won't let me connect to my current game due to not activating my From Ashes DLC (which I already have)
• I contacted Origin Live help in which they instructed me to delete the local installers, uninstall origin, and reinstall and try again (did not work)

Here are some wild cards that might affect what's going on

• Internet connection where I am right now is slow
• I am in Beirut, Lebanon
• Originally obtained accessed and downloaded the game on the east coast in the US

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this? =(

Okay so if your preparing bar is stuck and there's no error message, check what network you're connected to.

One problem (the one I have) is that I'm at a university with a restricted server (thankfully not for long now that I've discovered this)

As soon as I find a decent program that can create a decent VPN I shall post it, good luck to anyone who reads.

So check if your university has Websense. It allows Origin, but not Steam. Also it allows some games on Origin, but I guess not ones that are too horrible for my virgin eyes to see.

I'm just going to download it somewhere else.
