Because you are all showing such a blatant disreguard for the complete horse **** that is this leak thread of the Earth DLC, here is a thread spawned in the efforts to debunk it, and make sure that your expectations get lowered before the 17th, so as to lay off some of the inevitable rage that will end up on the forums.

All we know so far is that it will be playable to those who attend the upcoming comicon in San Diego. That part was given to us by the Bioware blog. The other stuff we know is that it comes out on the 17th labeled as Earth DLC, and it will be free. This bit was given to us by this guy:

Other than that info, we know NOTHING!! So anything you find in the forums about anything should not be thought legit without valid proof from reliable sources. That includes the forum referenced above. PICTURES DON'T MEAN ****.. They're cool, i guess. But by no means does that make it anymore true than other speculatory threads. Do you knowe who Gibbed is? Well he's a modder, a frequent SA surfer, and many other things. What this means is that he could potentially found something, but if he would've, OTHERS ALSO WOULD HAVE. But when it comes down to it, he is much more of a tech savage than the active BSNist, and definately has the ability to troll your damn socks off.

When it comes down to speculation; If it smells of stinky ****, you probably shouldn't eat it up. Now we can't really disproove the descriptions of the classes as far as what was posted. The most we could do with that is create even more counter-speculation on how the game mechanics of it wouldn't work and the realism and the OPness and the bla and the bla and the goddamn bla. A lot of that has already happened. But, again, it has no substance. We need validity behind what we say. So we need to work through things that actually make progress towards showing that this 'leak' is nothing more than the greatest troll evar. So I'm going to work at the images and try to analyze it. I already have, and some of it is obviously photoshopped. So I will post whatever I find in the time I have to investigate. I want you people to do the same. If you find any good evidence, post it here with as much detail as is necessary. It could be just an explanation; a picture; or anything else that works. Just provide anything you can that will prevent half of BSN from feeling like asses when the 17th finally arrives.

Well, the same applies here. Fact is: they still look pretty awesome. 

While I don't take it all too serious, I'm just hoping those leaks are true, I'm much more excited for this than I was for Rebellion or Resurgence.

What a stupid debunking thread. That's like complaining like about all the past leaks saying things like , "well that vorcha is just... well a vorcha." Of course they're going to be based on some previous models.

Every leak has been right so far. What a horrible try at debunking.

I'm not going to stand around and let BSN get trolled by an elaborate photoshopper. If you go look at the hundreds of posts being made on that thread in the past few HOURS, most of them are along the lines of, "OMG CANT WAIT FOR THIS **** IN MY PANTS." Maybe like 3% are people who actually realize that it doesn't mean anything. PICTURES DONT MEAN ****..

No, there was this "leaked DLC info" about Collector base and ****, like 3 or 4 months ago, that was complete bull****.

Questions-

Wouldn't thise be the earliest DLC launch we've had yet? All the previous ones were end of month launches.

Where were our teasers? For both previous expansions, we had character teasers in the announcements.

The pre-DLC Op Weekend has always been to promote characters. Why change now.

I don't know guys, I find myself skeptical.

While the powers aren't 100% (one of them even has a ? on it, if I recall), the images look way too good and professionnal to be fakes, imho. The fact that they recycle a lot of pre-existing ME3 ressources actually makes them more believable, not the opposite.

Calling the characters OP when they are called N7 is also a bit off, especially since all the characters we have been using so far are only N6 at best, not real N7. This denomination also makes it more likely that they are actually UR, which would allow for a power boost of sorts.

Last, they don't seem all that OP to me. 4 out of 6 appear to have some kind of melee power. That usually doesn't turn to be so hot on gold. On platinum (if that's true), with 4 banshees jumping all over the place, good luck with that sword thingy of yours...
