So, this weekend operation squad goal is gold only, and you need to extract. This sound intimidating for people that aren't used to gold, but if you take some precautions, you can do it, just don't give up.

Here, some tips for you:

Keep your eyes open for Ravagers and Marauders.
Pay attention on what is happening at range, look every corner. If you see a Ravager, go for it, kill him. Unless something is preventing you, focus on then, or they will kill you when a Banshee or a Brute force you to run out of cover. Marauders can kill fast too, so make them and the Ravagers your primary target. Kill them, don't matter what, or they will kill you

Try to kill the Banshees in the end of the wave
If you kill a Banshee in the beginning of the wave, she will respawn, so it's almost worthless considering that they are time consuming, and make you forget about the other enemies. Go for the rest. Cannibals and husk are pretty fast to kill, and you will want the ravagers and the marauders down when you are "dancing with the banshee". Kill them, kill the brutes when you get the oportunity, and when thing are calm, kill the banshees.

Pay attention on the Banshees position.
You must know all the time where they are. A good headphone can help on that, since you can keep a track of they paying attention on the sound they do when they are charging. If they enter an area you are, get out, keep distance while killing others.

Stay together.
A good team using the tatics above together (Ravagers and marauders first, banshees for last) can easily control the map, so stay together. When you run from the banshees, pay attention where everyone is going, try to go to the same direction. If everyone focuse on the same enemies at the same time, they fall before they become a threat.

Roll and take cover (unless your race can't roll, obviously XD)
You got hit by a ravager? Roll looking for a cover and locating the enemy, take the cover and paying attention on your health, kill him. Same for Marauders and Cannibals. A husk is about to grab you? Roll, then shoot. A Brute will charge at you? Keep your eyes on him, time your roll. You can't roll? Stay close of a obstacle, like a cover, anything that you can walk behind it, stoping the brute charge. The banshee charge close of you? Roll, then run. Roll is perfect for reapers. The Asari "dash" (I think that is the name of the asari roll) is perfect, just perfect. Dash like crazy, paying attention on covers and walls, so you can hide.

Use missiles on mission waves and last waves, but don't think twice to use it when you are in the middle of hell
Missiles are perfect for wave 6 and 10, plus the last waves (8,9 and 11). If you have room to calculate, go for the banshees. Always aim to the ground! Always!! If you can wait for the two banshees to be together, so you can kill both, do it. This is perfect for hacking area and target mission. Actually for any mission. Between dying and using a missile, obviously choose the missile. You want to extract, don't forget that.

Use your MIC
Communicate what you are doing, at least with a single word if you are shy or your english is not that good. You gonna use a missile? Say it, so the other guy don't waste his missile shooting the same thing you will shoot. A Banshees is coming near someone? Say "Banshee", you don't want your squadmate to be grabed. You are going to a better spot? Advise the team, so everyone stay together. A single word can save an entire match.

Adapt
Sometimes things just don't work the way you want, so adapt. An example, you want to let the banshee for last, but everyone is shooting her, and the enemies are far enough to give you room to kill her, so kill her. You are going for ravagers, but your squadmate is killing it fast, just look your surroundings and cover his back. Keep your eyes open for the team and your surrounding, change according with what is happening. It's like chess, you must be ahead of the enemies.

Go full biotic
If you can make a full biotic team, do it. Biotic Explosion is the reapers nemesis. A squad warping and other reaving a banshees will it her armor in seconds. Don't forget that you want cooldown, so go for low weight weapons that are good against armor. You can do it with other classes, obviously, but you should try biotics. Don't forget to host if you will play vanguard, and don't charge the banshees when she is glowing.

So, that's it. More experienced players can give more tips below, and build they recomend. Keep trying, there's no such thing as "I'm not good enough to do it".

Really good tips. I think most bronze/silver players here already know them by reading the other threads, but we can't stress that enough. :)

Sad thing is, most players don't read the forums...

Don't be Rambo

Don't go out by yourself, it's the easiest way to get yourself killed and your teammates killed when they try to revive you. Stick with the more experienced players and try to help them out with weapons and powers.

Be aware of Vorcha

Some of your teammates might be playing Vorcha. These are a very squishy race that need to constantly kill enemies to remain viable against the Reapers. If you see an enemy about to drop and the Vorcha is firing at it: let the Vorcha kill it! By "kill-stealing" its enemies you might actually be killing your Vorcha teammate.

This is funny. Spend time worrying about the poor Vorcha getting their kills and let me know how those Gold runs turn out. There is a such thing as being a douche and killstealing but worrying about someone getting their kills is a good way for a team to wipe. A decent Vorcha player will get theirs.

This can't be repeated enough. Brutes are only dangerous up close, they're easy to dodge, and you can get them hung up on terrain pretty easily. Banshees are fast and nasty, but they're not sneaky and while they're in their teleport mode, their only attack is the close-range sync kill.

But Ravagers will murder you from any range, and Marauders will gang up on you from medium range and shred you with their Phaeston XXVIIIs. If you prioritize killing these guys, you'll live substantially longer.

Roll and take cover (unless your race can't roll, obviously XD)

More specifically, roll to the side. Most enemies in the game have trouble tracking yaw movement (at least on XBox), so this will give you an extra fraction of a second to find cover.

A couple more tips:

Use cover.
This is one of the big mistakes I see people new to Gold (and Silver) make: they don't use cover. In Gold, and particularly against Reapers, you can and will get destroyed by long-range fire. The way to make sure that doesn't happen is to make use of the massive damage reduction you get when firing from cover. As a bonus, it makes you more accurate, too.

Be aware of your surroundings.
The Marauder you didn't see because you went all tunnel-vision on the Brute is the guy who will kill you, and the Husk you ignored will pull you out of cover and immobilize you in full view of a Ravager. (I'm speaking from personal experience, here.) Always keep half an eye on what's around you, and when you move don't forget about your "six".

 I forgot one:

Distract the banshee in device and "pizza delivery" missions
If other player is doing this missions, keep your eyes open for banshees near them. Go close to the banshee, just enough to make her follow you insteady of the guy doing the mission. Same for Ravagers and Brutes.

Did you not read what I actually wrote? I didn't say: "don't kill any enemy, the Vorcha might want it!"

I said be considerate if you see a Vorcha firing at something that is obviously going to be dropping in the next second. I would much rather the Vorcha get the kill and continue to be able to fight/live then have to attempt to revive him in the next couple of seconds.

I play Gold exclusively and this method for me works quite well. A little curtesy goes a long way in a co-op game.

I agree with the above poster's statement about the forum and the reading thereof but I have a suggestion for your list.

Do not ignore husks.

They are coverbusters and immobilizers, it happens often that a stray husk creeps up behind me and I get stuck in that grab animation, leaving me at the mercy of the other reapers enemies for a few seconds and often leading to my death. If you see them on a teammate, shoot them off.

Banshee throwing warp ? Seek cover, those things will track you.

Hit by a banshee warp and you haven't got much health remaining ?
Run to a teammate for an easy rez, don't make them come to you ( and the banshee ).
Or try dieing behind cover so the teammate coming to your rescue doesn't have to stay in the open.

Also teammate picked up by a banshee are also dropped when the banshee takes enough damage (AD+claymore/cloaked widow shot)or when it is staggerd (BE,frag grenade).

A great team setup that I'd recommend is Novaguard (<--host), Asari Adept, 2 Asari Justicars/Drell Adepts

It works wonders, with near constant biotic explosions from the reave/warp spam setting everything ablaze for the novaguard to just go nuts. I'd highly recommend playing on Glacier at least once with this, it makes Reapers/Gold fun.

Be aware of Swarmers

Don't ignore Swarmers on the field. They will stop shield regeneration at crucial points and in extreme circumstances can kill you. Take a fraction of a second and kill those that are crawling near you if you have the time.

theres no point for bronze/silver players to worry, there needs to be only one survivor that is extracted at the end of a match - leave it to us goldies :)

I agree that it's too to pay attention on that, but in the heat of the battle is really hard to see that thing in time. Normally I end up killing "dead" enemies that the vorcha was killing, because I react fast to the enemy presence. whean I saw the vorcha, it was too late =P

A few slightlly advanced tricks to try, 1) if you brought a disposable friend (drone or turret) keep it in front of the banshee or brute until the fixate on it. They have hell trying to kill them. 2) make sure you synergize with the team (all biotic, etc) or at least don't screw with combos (if you brought overload use it after the BE)

Run away if you need too, many silver and bronze players will not run across the board to get away from swarms of enemies and just end up dying.

Three hack, one kites

Unless you are willing to spend all your rockets, wave 10 Reaper Gold hack circle can be a pain in your rear end. Ever-respawning double Banshees are certainly not the kind of love-triangle-with-twins you fantasize about. The standard procedure is to let one of the players woo those beauties far away from the circle, while the other three players finish the hack. The less missles you use to get rid of those magnet-handed mothers-in-law, the better.

If possible, Let one player go to do the hacks while the rest of the team stands ground hopefully on the other side of the map.

I think he or she meant the hold-the-hill type hack, not the 1-2-3-4. In that case, having one person in the hack circle isn't such a good idea...

Or, if you have a mic, tell them to use whatever they're detonating BEs with twice.
