 As some of you might know, here in this comunity there are some players ( including me ) who like soloing.

For example I have my own topic where people give me challenges to solo gold, but that's another story...

What we will do here is only based on speculation.

So, how hard do you think it will be to solo platinum?, do you think you will be able to do it?

Besides, also post here what builds would you use for this platinum mode, weapons, powers, characters, etc, remember everything here can be speculation, is just to kill time until release date.

I want something that I won't be capable of handle without a team, and even fail with my most elite team.

I mean, i want something almost imposible, something that really requires full team work, because in an elite team there is not team work, there are only 4 elite players who kill everything in front of them.

I want something that make us camp like noobs

It seems that soloing "wont" be possible, and that makes me VERY happy.

It seems I will need my elite team to do this....


PS: If you can solo gold, you think you will able to beat platinum?

I hope that this platinum difficulty will be impossible to solo and will require the pinnacle of teamwork. Otherwise, it'll just be a matter of time before someone figures out a system and people start demanding, I don't know, plutonium difficulty?

I don't know whether or not there will be a set number of waves, brother. Some speculate it's and endless mode with higher than Gold level enemies. But there will probably be a few people like you who will try it, and I'm certainly looking forward to the results. I can barely solo silver, so I won't be trying it myself.

If people start soloing platinum, they should offer a player crippling mode. Call it Insanity, like sp. Except you have no shield gate, enemies are smarter and flank faster. Can't revive with medigel only team revives. Enemies block out the sun with the sheer volume of their numbers. On wave 10 nothing but bosses spawn, Banshees for reapers, Primes for Geth, and Phantoms for Cerberus.

Oh, and you can only bring 1 other player with you.

ive only managed wave 10 solo on gold with a kroguard... i doubt very much ill be able to solo platenham they may even do it like zombie mode on cod i.e endless waves the higher you get the higher the reward no extraction unless they cap it to like wave 100 which will be almost impossible to reach...

If it's endless, with credits for surviving a set number of waves, that'd be awesome. Was sort of hoping it'd be a separate game mode, where each wave presents in increase in difficulty up to a point where no increase is functionally possible, but I'll take what I can get.

I may try it once just to say I did as I have solo'd Bronze, Silver and Gold but in all honesty...I love this game for the coop piece of it. If I dont try to solo it.... it wont bother me one bit. The community of players I play with in ME3 are awesome and I'd rather play with them than soloing these difficulties.

I wish you the best in soloing this. If you are succesful create a video to help others on how to do it. Good luck.

I think the only way i could handle a platinum solo would be to go with my gi and overkill config (ap4, ar rail3, ar gear, cyclonic4,revenant-clip/barrel) but since i already prefer to have a team with me (if the **** hits the fan) i think i will avoid doing this

I just personally wonder how long until some of you nutjobs does this and how fast

LOL @ all these 'ifs'. It will happen eventually and deep down we all know it's true.  No system/difficulty is flawless.

They aren't going to up the enemy cap by more than 2 if they do, and that doesn't make things a lot more difficult.
All bosses aren't that hard, only the insta kills are

If it ends up being like 10 primes a match it wont be harder, just a hell lot longer, now 10 banshee's or phantoms, that might be a issue since, well lots and lots of running.

True enough. I believe hand cannons are the exception in great numbers however.

Actually I hope platinum to be harder.
