I hope Bioware never buffs anything because of Platinum.

When Bioware looks at the game stats and they consider buffing a class or a weapon, I hope they exclude Platinum from their statistics completely, and never listen to anybody who says Platinum is too hard. Ever and ever, forever. I hope they pretend Platinum doesn't even exist, and continue pretending Gold is supposed to be the hardest difficulty.

Kudos to Bioware - I like the sounds of it. Platinum is the way to go about adding difficulty to the game for the Gold is too easy crowd, and it looks like they've gone to great lengths to make sure there will be few if any claiming "Platinum is too easy".

It'll probably be a while before I venture into Platinum, Gold is plenty good a challenge as it is today for me. But I'm sure there will be folks here that can manage Platinum teams.

Do we have any clues as to the credit payout of Platinum? 2X credits over gold, as is the current pattern, would be salivating! I mean, that's nearly a PSP-and-a-half in a single match.

Platinum is going to be impossible Solo or not
to me I've Soloed Bronze many times with my Vorcha, And I almost Beat Silver
With my Geth Intiltrator... I might attempt Gold With my Vorcha, But back to what i said

To a point, it'll be impossible to solo(probably only get to like wave 3). Gold takes 20-30 with an average team, 20-25 with a good team, never had an awesome team to go below 20 so I bet it'd take me 30-40 to beat Plat if my team is good enough so I expect 120k or so creds(cause 150+ would be overkill)

You know, my hat is off to you who want to attempt to solo Platinum. You must either be incredibly foolish, or incredibly brave.

I'll side with Bryan on this though, the victory he had with his group is I believe the only recorded victory so far, and that is well before the difficulty was in its current state. The likelihood of any single person legitimately beating Platinum solo is astronomically unlikely to me.
