Nope, I just went to the team responsible for testing it and took over one of their machines and said we were going to try and beat platinum. (I am not even on the team that tests it).

For the record I was a Drell Adept.

Nah when we go try Platinum, we see a video of when Bryan played and beat it to make us quiver in fear and don't even try it......but the prize!

i really am excited about this DLC and glad BW listened to us and gave us our wish for a platinum difficulty...I wonder if next week they will analyze the data and laugh at all of the wave 1 mission fails lol

Could you tell us what times you score on average while playing on gold with your tryhard pants on?
I know time isn't necessery an indicator for skill but when I see teams beat gold in <17 minutes without even using one rocket in the whole match or player do solo runs in ~20 minutes, it kinda is hard to imagine what Platin is going to be even when players as this are supposed to have problems.

Right now there are players that simply can beat gold regularly without too much trouble (like me) but there are also those guys that probably can beat gold blindfolded and with their hands tied behind their back...

In any case I'm really curious what it's gonna be like.

If you can't solo with this then platinum is just plain impossible.

I can't wait to find out what the credit output is for Platinum. 100k? 200k? 500k?! It's going to be right fun to try. Can't wait to see all the new stuff in the DLC. If this DLC is as good as it looks. I may just forgive the whole ending thing.

i still got to finish a solo gold before i even attempt a solo platenham but a few freinds on my xbox i know will try it.
ive seen them on youtube soloing with some of the unlikeliest characters and weapons.. im talking avenger on a human sentinal etc one of then done a 22 minute run solo gold againts reapers on Giant...

im just hoping you guys are right in saying it will be extremely hard even with a full team but i see the geth with there space being able to stunlock you from across the map through 3 walls lolz

Kroguard is immune to stunlock, and most staggering in general.

When we were testing the main game stuff bronze+silver+gold we used on average about level 7 gold weapons. We now have gear, new match consumables, new classes, balance changes etc. Which has made gold easier for users have been around for awhile. Platinum has taken that stuff into account and then basically built it around that.

Net result Platinum now, will be harder than gold at launch for a large majority
