Can you tell us anything about the new escort objective? Specifically, is the AI a complete moron who'll walk a set path, even if four banshees are in the way, or is there some intelligence to the thing? Does it have a fair amount of health? If it dies, do we get a second chance, or is it a mission failure?

Considering the fact that I tend to score similiar scores with my "N7 MISSILE DAT SWARMERS NOW!!!!!11!1" mates, I'm pretty confident that we'll be challenged to the max.

Maybe one more question: 
While testing where you actually truly using teamwork and team "strategies"? For example playing in full biotic squads going all for bio explosions, having a Stasis/sniper combo or just in general actually truly used teamwork?
Most of the time it really is enough to have 4 lone wolfs together that simply all somehow shoot in the enemy direction at the same time.
Even biotics (Adepts) usually detonate their bio explosions themselves, be it a warp+throw or reave+cluster grenade. Due to the small cooldown team never were "forced" to actually "speed up" the procedure for example by having 2 guys only just constantly making the bioplosions ready while 2 others activate them.


In general I just hope that communication and "tactics" will become an absolute must do to have any chance for success. More than just shooting the same enemy and reviving when necessary.
Were your "successful" games true team efforts or was it in all honesty just usuall "ok now all shoot the banshee" teamwork?

We had a 5-10 minute strategy discussion in the lobby, with Eric Fagnan being one of the other players on my squad, on what specific characters/classes to use, what weapon combinations, what gear and power combinations, and what level we figured we could best survive on, along with a bit of discussion prior to starting about where we should be holding out, who goes to do what objective, and teammate pairings for optimal damage output. (keep in mind that we ran with optimal high level character builds, maximized gear and weapons, too)We play with 4 people in the same room, so communication is really fast and easy, and aside from a little bit of joking around, it was a serious, constant communication affair calling out enemies well before they could reach our positions.
Trust me, in the current setup with the gear, and the new character classes, and the new weapons, Platinum is not a difficulty you are going to want to randomly PUG into.

I hope its more mobs at more spawn points and not just Diablo 3 inferno like which was widely critised 'oh look a basic mob 1shot you while you did 5% damage to it a headshot'. Also remember some of us are on consoles and dont have 0.2second aim headshot pro gamer mice.

Sadly randoms will easily farm platinum on FB white geth and get whatever rewards platinum offers without any effort. Geth AI can do nothing against tech burst + grab + decoy combination. Any two works actually. Even bronze players will do it on Noveria.
Can you do something with that?

That either means the AI/Spawnpoints changed, the counter was removed, or Geth Primes can shoot through walls.

Becareful players might find a stragety to beat in on platnium if firebase white and the last thing we need is you choking from eating a hat lol

I'm going to guess that the spawnpoints will be unchanged.  But the objectives could be A LOT harder which would still make farming White extremely iffy.  That said. I'm sure Geth on White will remain the easiest match setup to beat.

what about the cerb speedrun? it makes fbw seem hard i mean litrally fbw takes 22 mins even with a good team because of the camping but the cerb speedrun 12 minutes and less on gold i wonder if the gods who do it in 10 and half minutes will do it on platenham...

Reactor is a wise choice. Cerberus only if you had a anti phantom plan in motion ^^


 About the baseball hat thing, I don't doubt of the ability of some players to find weak spots on things, so don't forget to put you eating the hat on youtube

The ME3 Datepad had info about an entirely new Geth enemy, some big fooker. I am willing to put money on new enemy types for each faction.

I appreciate the info and i'm excited about trying it out. But on the same sense, i'm sure somebody somewhere will find a way to farm platinum so get some hot sauce for your hat lol

Also can you assure that people searching for a bronze won't get thrown into a platinum by accident? i know they get thrown into gold sometimes. and you can tell right away there not up for it.

I'm a little disappointed.

Gold is already pretty much unreachable for me on the XBox because PUGs just can't do it. It already makes so many weapons and races bad that they just can't be used on Gold if you want to clear.

And we are getting an even more difficult Platinum difficulty?

Dunno bro, I PUG gold fairly often when my bro's aren't on and usually clear it with a 60-70% success rate. Also, with the improvements in consumables and weapon levels I don't believe there are any classes incapable of completing gold.
