Hi, I'm trying to make a module that's built around a specific PC class.

I really wanted to make it oriented towards a sorcerer/wizard PC, but... well, I'm finding it might be awfully complicated to set it up.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Should I try making it for a bard or rogue PC instead? Posted Image

I don't know if it helps you or not, but look at the thread in my signature.
Both rogues and mages(sorcerors and wizards) have lots of modules designed for them.
You could try to look what others did, if you need some inspiration, ideas , guidelines etc..
On the other hand the bards have only 17 modules designed for them.

Last thing: If yu are thinking about making bard module from scratch, why not try to finish the bardsong series? The author left note about the plot of the remaining parts(building spelljammer ship in order to rescue elves) on the nwvault I think.
Or try to finish Paladin trilogy(same story here, last part never made, plot posted on authors forum)

I'd suggest you pick a class that you like and know well.

What Mystery X said.
If you still want to know my opinion: I hate playing mages, prefer bards.

The werelynx is wise.........bards are good; another bard module would be very good. Not that I have any crazy preference, or anything. :P

Seriously, though, I would love to see another bard-centered module. By the way, since bards are great for multiclassing many different characters might qualify, should you not require a pure bard character. For example, if the Perform skill were needed, any character with a good amount of Perform (via skilldumping, perhaps) could succeed; I think there are quite a few possibilities.
