I remember one of my friends mentioning that the next DLC will probably feature a new squadmate-Kind of like a Kasumi to Javik's Zaeed.

We figured that since alot of people want their LIs to return as squadmates, why not have the next addition be one where you can reaquire you LI as a squadmate?<3

This way they could add additional scenes for the fans of those characters and it would be neat to see how it would affect the story.

For Example:
SPOILERS BELOW

If you romanced Miranda in ME2, when you first meet her she rejoins your squad-figuring the Normandy was the safest place right now-this way she will speak to you directly about her search for Oriana and when you go to the Sanctuary, she is simply a mandatory squadmate, similar to EDI and Chronos Sation.

or if you romanced Thane in ME2, he mentions that his favorite doctor gave him 3 months to live 9 months ago, so it is reasonable to believe he could survive past the end of the game, when you meet him on the Citadel, he joins your team and during the Cerberus attack on the Citadel, he is a mandatory squadmate but since you romanced him he does not get stabbed by Kai Leng, simply knocked on his ass.

Or when Samara is about to kill herself, add a renegade interupt right after the parogon one(in which shepard disarms her)during which Shepard kisses her and convinces her to join him. again, only if an attempt at romance was made in ME2.

A renegade interupt which allows femshep to backhand Jacob and demand her Priiiize back is also very much needed.

SPOILER END

I was just throwing those out there, anyways, that way everyone can be happy that thier LIs are squadmates now.

However if your LI is already a squadmate, it could add Captain Bailey. :police:

After the event on the Citadel, Shepard could ask Bailey if he would like to help him fight the reapers instead of being a glorified doorman.;)

So, what do you people think? cool? meh? stupid? what?^_^

It's been discussed... often... here's the most pertinent example.

Yeah, this has been going around. The Jack/Miranda one is even a sticky on this forum.

A DLC with the only intention of fleshing out romances, if paid, wouldn't really be a good idea. As a part of a DLC's mission however, like LotSB did, would be a better idea.

If it's free... well, can't argue with free.

Whatever... I'd rather pay for that then some hybrid that gives me stupid Reaper history and a half-baked LI or character as a tac-on. We definatly all have our own preferences.

Even though I will always approve with that kind of things, BioWare will never release a DLC just for virtual romances.
These kind of things don't go well with the outside world (outside the nerdy internet-communities).

Best bet is to ask for extended content in another direction.
Example LotSB: Interesting mission + extended content for those who romanced.

If you want to "improve" your LI, just buy them some implants.

because people will **** afterwords that there isn't enough non-fan servicing, story based DLC like Overlord and the non-romance related parts of LotSB.

I'd buy it!

The chances that we'll get it...slim, but I can always hope.

And thank you for not dismissing Thane out of hand, I appreciate it.

Wasn't there a dev tweet which said that due to technical reasons, they would need to create new environments in order to put new people on your squad?

Another issue that would come up in regards to the LOTSB type DLC is that they would have to make different ones for each LI and thats the problem because most of the Hatred stems from the poor handling of the Mass Effect 2 LI's and if Bioware creates DLC's to try and fix those "LOTSB" the fans of the Originals and new options would throw a fit.

While I would by DLC that fixes the Mass Effect 2 Romances or even just improved all the Romances but I don't think that it will happen because sadly I don't think Bioware will decide to create this type of DLC I hope I am wrong but I 'm realistic.
