Actually, Bisexual woman are more popular than anything. When I took a class on Queer Cinema (That's what it's called) you learn that the most commonly seen representation of an LGBT person is a Bisexual female.

I'm heterosexual but that doesn't prevent me from appreciating both Cortez and Traynor, who are some of the best LGBT figures I've ever seen in a video game.

They may actually BE the best LGBT characters.

All the better, make them bisexual.

Shepard can have a 3 way with Liara and Ashley.

Two things.

1. I don't count Samara/Morinth as a romance because Samara doesn't even kiss you, and Morinth kills you if your try anything.

2. Both of the M/M romances are full romances whereas Kelly and Allers (again not counting S/M... unintended pun, but I'm leaving it in) you basically get a single line, and I don't think either of them get the bed scene.

That said, yeah, the more options the better.

I appreciate what you say, but i would still appreciate a couple of minor M/M romances

You are born the way you are. You don't choose anything.

Having everyone be Bisexual is actually unrealistic because sexuality does not work that way.

But yes, having some is always a great addition.

But a FemShep/Liara romance is NOT lesbianism, it is pansexual or more preferably, omnisexual. There is nothing wrong with this, I just thought I would throw it out there.

My opinion may be biased, but I was completely awestricken by the quality of Steve romance. I don't care which is more popular, F/F or M/M, since the game lets me finally play how I want to play.

All the better have a foursome, Liara doesn't really count so we need 1 more(Tali)

Well my Shepard only romanced one person throughout all the games.

I was oblivious to everyone else.

I didn't even notice how annoying Liara was until I came to the BSN.

My Shepard was thinking about Miranda the whole time.

Suck it haters.

Are you saying that a person who is not a lesbian would be attracted to the asari body, which has both breaths and  a vagina (although the second doesn't even make sence, but oh well)

Surely, since the asari are mono-gendered (they are all females) a female human who has sex with an asari female would be considered a lesbian in the eyes of human society?

Because most straight male gamers would be comfortable with imagining liara to be a girl during the sex scene in me1, so why wouldn't a lesbian?

They are not "female", as we see it. Sexuality is going to get more complicated in the future if we ever encounter other species. I would argue that the attraction would be there, but I would not consider it a lesbian relationship.

It's not an issue for me though because I only romance Miranda, so...yeah.

If they are not female as we know it, why are they called 'she', why are hey voiced by female voice actors, and why do they have both breats and vaginas?

I've no interest at all in seeing a M/M romance but thought that Steve was shown really well and I imagine that carrying the romance on further would result in something well done, more so than the impression I got from Traynor for an F/F one. I suppose that a bit of tragedy in a character's background always helps to make them a bit more interesting.

What?

I really don't know what to say about that. You're basically saying I should be with women even if I'm gay. Unless you've been with a man, you can't really say something like that. Personally, I think I'm not losing anything here.

We aren't losing anything :)

But I do think that he is merely saying it colloquially, rather than making a serious statement

I'm a quality above quantity kinda guy so the two options for m/m is more than enough in my opinion. What I liked about Cortez was that he isn't a "stereo type gay character". His character shows that he is a man that just happens to like men.

I've only done F/F (with traynor) mainly because i couldn't stand Cortez at times and i can't make myself leave Ashley on Virmire cuz i see her as shep's sister, so i haven't had kaidan on the squad ever. but i did think that traynor was a satisfactory romance, liara is better(quality) but traynor was pretty good.

I know exactly what you mean.

The more they portray non-stereotypical gay relationships in games which have a core audience of straight male gamers, the more they will learn to accept it;)

I don't play the S/S relationships, so I'm no expert, but other than Liara, weren't the F/F romances all kind of empty? I mean, you get the shower scene with Traynor, but how effective can a scene be when you're trying not to laugh during it (lingere in the shower??). Kelly get's more material this time, but it's still pretty light (and doesn't interfear if you want a relationship, so in that way it sort of doesn't count). And Allers...
Whereas Kaidan and Cortez were full relationships (I think?).

Again, I'm in Taboo's boat, except I'm an ashmancer, so I can't say, but it seems to me that the M/M got more quality than the F/F.

As unfair as it is, F/F sells better than M/M.

F/F is more popular in real life so...

I assure you, the majority of the people who do the lesbian romances are dudes, not actual lesbians.

Because... there are more straight men than there are gay women. That's a meaningless statistic and I don't even know where you were going with it.

Anyway, the ME team evidently had some kind of aversion to gay men that they just barely squeaked past in ME3, but their attitude regarding lesbians has never really been that much better. Comparatively speaking, F/F is a bit better off, but really, DA is much better for both.

They are not "female", as we see it. Sexuality is going to get more
complicated in the future if we ever encounter other species. I would
argue that the attraction would be there, but I would not consider it a
lesbian relationship.

It's not one from the asari point of view because asari don't make those kinds of distinctions, but from a human point of view, it's absolutely a lesbian relationship. Only those attracted to women would logically be attracted to asari. Trying to claim it doesn't count is a ridiculous handwave made by one evidently frightened idiot trying to do PR.

don't forget straight female gamers :) I'm all for choice in games so I like how Bioware dealt with the subject.  I heard Kaiden may come on to a straight Shepard but at least there is the option to be just friends so a m/m relationship is not really forced on anyone.  I like having a choice and the fact that other people also have a choice as to whether they want same sex relationships in their games.  Back on topic though I think even though there are less romance options for m/m the quality of the content is great
