First, they release an amazing game in ME3.

Then, they continue with a ton of post-launch support for the community.

All the free MP DLC and gave us the awesome EC.

SP DLC on the way(can't wait, paid or free).

They even listended to the community and gave us the new EC soundtracks free!

Thank you so much Bioware for continuing to be my favorite dev. I wish more devs in the industry would be so involved with their community...=]

Thank you Bioware for all your hard work and passion you put into your games!!!

Endings still suck.

Edit: You can thank them for w/e you want, just not for the endings.

Everyone knows giving us all this free stuff is just a ploy to take all our money, kick our puppies and steal our souls.

But seriously, Bioware worked their collective arses off to entertain me this year, and they don't get nearly enough credit for that. So let me sneak a quick thank you in before the usual faces send this thread to the usual place.

They definitely deserve it. The Mass Effect games are the greatest I've ever played and though it sounds corny, I think they've actually made me a better person lol. If they manage to make a single player dlc that makes the thorian and shiala relevant again I'll thank them even more haha. I was sorry to hear about all the people at Bioware being let go

I'll be forever grateful for their creation of the Mass Effect universe :-) even though I would've preferred it ended differently, there is still so much they did right with the 3rd game, and countless moments throughout the series that far outweigh being shot down at the end - the Extended Cut even helped on this, making a bad ending less bad.

They've gotten a lot of flak and still continue to, but I think it's evident that they on the whole care about the community, and most of their employees (that I've seen talking in non-PR-scripted contexts) clearly show a lot of passion for their stories.

I hope BioWare will continue crafting superb story-telling and RPGs, taking good and bad experiences with them from Mass Effect 3. And I also hope, almost as emphatically, that they realise that a lot of people love their stories :-)

I agree Jack. Even if one thinks Bioware made mistakes, you have to give them credit. They're working their butts off to please this community...

I can't tell you how many times I've seen a dev just let their community voices drown out and never respond. At least Bioware makes an attempt to satisfy everyone. It might be impossible but they still love their community. Always been my favorite attribute about Bioware. :P

Thanks, but no thanks. Repair the broken ending then I'll be happy.

This. I would've attempted to see how long it took for the first negative post showed up, but it looks like they're already starting. Still, I'll add my thanks in too for the hard work they did..

If this were posted prior to the release of the extended cut , the majority of fans would have said a phrase with the word "you", but the first word wouldn't have been "thank".:P

No, The EC did not fix the crux of the problems, its a band-aid on a bullet wound.

And as for the Multiplayer DLC its only free because its gets more people to buy random packs with money, and some people probably paid more money than all three games + DLC combine.

I love all three games despite their flaws, you simply can't get a gaming experience like Mass Effect anywhere else. So yes, thank you Bioware for reminding me that video games can be an amazing entertainment medium, at a time when I was rapidly losing interest in the industry.

Uh, no thanks. . . and is this a troll thread or something? I mean, Bioware definitely isn't the worst dev out there but they have fallen pretty far with their recent products. IMO, I'm not really sure they need encouragement in that respect.

I will give them a thanks when they quit releasing all the free weapons and stuff to MP players only and start showing some weapon love to SP players that's free.
