I tried updating my games multiple times but there was no update.

I had a similiar problem with the EC DLC, it let me click on it, then it would not show a progress bar so I exited and reentered the DLC menu when I started the game back up and it started up again.

You have likely tried this already, so the only other thing I can think of is maybe repairing and updating ME3 from the Origin "My Games" menu.
