A personal thing would be a GOOD roleplaying game for the Tolkien setting. And a great personal plot to go with it. It's hard to do anything other than 'good vs evil' but a personal story can have a lot of grey areas too.
Leading a band of exiled Noldor to the west within the darkest times of the first age would make for an excellent emotional experience, and has a lot of oppurtunties for great dialogue.

Either a a Star Wars game that has great lightsabre battles that don't end in just 5 minutes but a full length battle lasting for 20 minutes with a perfect controller set-up that allows you to engage in light sabre battles like a real jedi. in a dynamic changing environment so your always on the move, still engaged in a fight.
An RPG in the Lord of The Rings. AKA Skyrim character creation, Mass Effect dialogue choices, Dragon Age Origins travelling system or even better Skyrim's open world, amazing personalities like in Mass Effect, a like or dislike system similar to Dragon Age Origins, and open character that is left up to the player (insert yourself into the game). Would be nice if this was used in a Star Wars setting as well.
A horror game with realistic survival system like using certain equipment to heal wounds, actual real-time degrading mental health that when starts lowering hallucinations become more horrific both visually and auditory and when it is close to no sanity it is becomes hard to tell if your playing a dream in-game (think of Dead Space 2 hallucinations, Spec Ops: The Line Burj Khalifa hallucinations) and that the hallucinations will always be different depending where you are. And i would like it set in where the environment is also agaisnt you (sand storms, snow storms, tropical rainforest monsoon etc).
An open world zombie survival game with everything from basic needs to making other survivors trust you or if they don't they will attempt to kill you.
EDIT: Oh and a free-roaming game based in the future. Like GTA but in the future, either choice of driving on the road or in the air.

A Baldur's Gate 3 that actually could possibly exceed my expectations.

A Superhero themed RPG for the modern era, not just an action game with "moral-choices" tacked on.

I would love to see an RPG focus on other cultures like Babylonian, ancient Chinese, Dravidian, or Viking - and I mean real viking, not the cliche ridden slop that usually represents medieval Scandinavia
We both know that sh*t will never happen.

Frankly, we'll be lucky to see an enhanced version of the game. Full voice acting for 800,000 words is a tall order, but it certainly lives up to the title of "Ambitious".Planescape: Torment built with the CDPR engine and FULLY voiceacted.
I can dig it. Rise of the Argonauts was a decent RPG if you could get past the horrendous graphics engine. I think one particular part in that game may have inspired Obsidian's timed-choices from Alpha Protocol.I would love to see an RPG focus on other cultures like Babylonian, ancient Chinese, Dravidian, or Viking - and I mean real viking, not the cliche ridden slop that usually represents medieval Scandinavia
A bit like Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem?(And to a lesser extent, Amnesia: TDD)Actual real-time degrading mental health that when starts lowering hallucinations become more horrific both visually and auditory and when it is close to no sanity it is becomes hard to tell if your playing a dream in-game

Not sure if this fits this bill entirely, but http://dayzmod.com/ ]Day-Z[/url]might be up your alley. Its got heavy resource management, a truly open world environment and real-human-player chance of being backstabbed, robbed or just plain manipulated is strongly present. You can work for hours just to find a way to find other players... and then when you meet, the very real thought crosses your mind of whipping out your rifle and trying to loot their soon-to-be-dead corpse.

3.Dragon Age: Origins 2
4.Time Splitters 4

The one game I want to see that I feel I never will is Beyond Good and Evil 2. News sounds more and more hopeful every year, but then again, with every year I become less and less convinced it will ever happen.

Character creation. The possibility of being infected. Bleed-out timers. Realistic weapon/ammo storage (like a backpack or something. None of that crap where the guns magically stick to your back.) Survivors that you can interact with, command, save, or kill. Headshots only. Full first-person gameplay (no third-person cutscenes, healing, etc.) Looters who infect the city. Driving (also in first-person.) Decent story that's believable. A maintainable safehouse with food stores, weapon/ammo refills, and barricades (all of which have the potential to deplete, and become overrun.) No HUD (have to check clip to see ammo count, have to rummage through bag to find ammo, medkits, flashlight, etc.) And a realistic damage system, with wounds based on where you were hit, and healing becoming more difficult depending on the extent of the damage (and headshots to the PC are insta-kills.)
Seriously, been wanting this for as long as I can remember.

A RPG game set in a more horror setting, slasher movie style, and a true murder mystery rpg with lawyer as main character - in style of murder one - with main arc mystery and some minor mysterious along way.

I thought it was, maybe it's just Fable I was seeing.C9316 wrote...
Oh and I forgot but a Fable The Lost Chapters HD remake ala Halo Anniversary with achivements and all that or a prequel that details the Old Kingdom more. Heck I'd even settle for Fable TLC being on Xbox originals...

Count me in too. I just wish they acquired the license and ran the game with the Onyx Engine. It looks like it is an engine begging to have a turn-based isometric game. From what I've been hearing, Dungeon Siege doesn't run bad at all on the consoles with that in-house engine. I could just imagine a Fallout game with updated graphics and modified turn-based combat system.

Scratch that, poor choice of words. What I meant to say was the game ramping was so stupid. I can't remember at what point it happened but the game got unexpectedly difficult to the point that I wanted to punch something. I just gave up and took the game back to GameStop.Matchy Pointy wrote...

This, and Last Remnant 2.
The battle system is the highlight of the game.
Uuh, I think I will enjoy the game, given it will be on a flash sale in Steam.

Remove all of the heat sinks for more lasers and override automatic shutdown, then die in a nuclear explosion once the reactor goes critical. That's the sport of kings.
