C'mon who would wear this "bathsuit"-armors?
-Women in such a Medieval setting would be too "prude" for this.
-It isnt effective(DONT make me explain WHY ! :)
-Damn it! WE ARE IN FERELDEN! ITS FU**ING COLD IN THIS PART OF THE WORLD!!!

The male one looks really nice, especially with the gloves and stuff.:wizard:

I am disappointed that I can't get a proper chainmail bikini.
It would suit my rogue to a T

I absolutely hate how most female leather armor look, especially the dalish leather style. It looks completely out of place in a serious setting and plain all-out retarded.

So yeah, I guess I'm with OP.

Funny... my human noble rogue female spent the entire game wandering around in Dalish Leathers. Who knew? ;)

midriffs ftw. what's the point of stopping the blight if you can't do in style? we just need a christina aguilera washboard abs mod that's all.

I don't care if some of the leathers look like that, what I hate is that ALL of them do! Playing as a female character I have no choice except for her to be hanging out or upgrade to medium armours, which put greater fatigue on my rogue and require a higher str instead of dex

If you compare how a relatively simple full-body leathersuit from the real world looks compared what you get in DAO, you'll see that it's a lot "sexier" than what you get in DAO is. + ****** and + realism. Not that people historically, neither men nor women, walked around in full leather. But then again, in Dragon Age we have swords with obese handles and ridiculous pommels, douchebag shoulderpads and pretty much everything oversized, so I guess you can't whine about that.

Wow. Even though I know guys like to look at female characters, I'm surprised there aren't more people who support this, even if just for the fact that it makes sense. As someone in another thread about this pointed out, it should actually be kind of hard to tell between a man and a woman in full armor, whether it's plate or leather. I'd like a bit more neck protection on my rogue than a dog collar too.

I think you're confused as to what leather armor is/was. Leather really was used as armor in the past, and was probably much more common than plate and chain. It wasn't a tight, thin leather body suit. It was thick, sometimes hardened leather.

I would like to see some variety in the leather armor. My drakescale and felon's coat doesn't look that different from the armor I left the castle in. There is way more variety in the plate. I don't care if some of the stuff is low cut, but all of it? really?

Some leather hood type helms would be awesome too.

Fantasy is based on the more revealing art... even you hardcore fanatics should know that, the heroes must be attractive as a reflection towards reality.

I agree on this. All they would really need is to have one set of full leathers for the gals rather than the bare midrife one.
