After yet another wave 10 loss of connection can you please answer yay or nay as to whether it is possible to change the system to give players their hard earned XP/Credits when they reconnect? As in save a record after each Wave and after registering a disconnect update the players status when the first reconnect is registered.

Possible? Y/N

Will you try it? Y/N

It is not possible to receive your credits, because the connection is lost. Has it ever happened to you that, after you beat a game and you're given the "waiting - press to leave or stay" thing before you're shown your team's score and you leave, you don't receive credits or XP. The credits are and will always be received/loaded onto your account AFTER the game.

Why is that so hard to understand?.

That's not my question.

I know how things are now. Your post makes no sense after reading mine.

I'm asking can they CHANGE it.

So it's impossible to change things? He obviously understands the way it currently works, he was simply stating his idea on a possibly better way, nothing wrong with that.

I support the OP's idea.

I know what your question was. I do not now if it's possible to change it, but I do know they won't

I just want them to say that themselves. You can't change things without communication.

Here's a suggestion. If you want "special" attention, simply change the title of this thread to:

 "@Derek Hollan" or "@Eric Fagnan"

If I'm correct, they're the ones responsible for QA in MP. Although, I assure you, they're reading this thread, I won't guarantee a response.

Hello,
Yes it would be nice after ech objectiv round to transfer the money and xp over, so that you if you lost connection, host left and the game cant make the transfer or crash you get at least that what you already has earned and didnt lost the whole stuff.

Even 50% would nice, if theres someone who think then leaving would be spiking.
At least with 50% you would go out wihtout nothing after you have a "lucky" day.

Nor can you speak for anybody other than yourself.
I understand you doubt it will happen, it's how you're saying it that's causing a truffle.

Yes I would happily have a longer pause between the second money wave as the system saves. Maybe they could have a temp file on our PS3/Xbox/PC so that their memory is not overwhelmed?

It would be cool if it simply deposited the credits into your account at the end of each wave. I see that being completely do-able.

Call me naive if you will, but I think after putting so much effort and ingenuity into their games that BIOWARE are not intentionally trying to screw us over. If they can't fix this MP, hopefully they will devise a new system next time around after hearing from us players how badly it has affected our enjoyment of their product.

Won't happen.
Get instakilled wave 7- quit match, rejoin, end up with full credits after wave 10.
Giving credits at the end of objectice wave would be too easy to exploit.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to think of a way to make it happen so it can't be exploited and credits can be awarded after they're earnt instead of at the end of the match.

While I think your idea is a good one. I would much prefer if they would save inbetween. Meaning, after each wave where you've earned credits, the game would save your progress. Adding the right amount of credits. This would also go for the second objective but for the third it should stay the way it is to avoid people from leaving as soon as wave 10 ends.

Rejoining could overwrite your temp file?

Problem is though you've lost connection to the server. A file saved on the hard drive can be too easily manipulated to trick the server into thinking you've completed all 3 gold objectives in good time to get max credits.
Credits get added server side.

I was referring to the other guy, if that wasn't apparent...

Also though, it would be nice if consumables were returned if you're disconnected, not for quitting or failing however.

Actually, that wouldn't be a bad way of doing it, if you're disconnected for a legitimate reason, these ideas take place, but if you quit, the current method is applied.

That could help fix exploits as far as I can tell.

It was apparent, just never heard that phrase with truffles before. Made me laugh.

As it seems to be the EA servers that do the disconnecting (?) they could save your progress before you go maybe.

That is true unfortunately.

I get them in clusters also. On PS3.

Can go ages without and then it's every game for a few hours.

No, they won't ever change it. Because there's no way for them to differentiate a legitimate disconnect, and somebody unplugging an ethernet cord. And that's apparently a major issue.

Disconnected at wave 7 bronze yesterday - a little bit of me died inside, the other one started sobbing
