To me Homing Grenade sounds like a Prox. Mine that needs to be locked onto a target.
I agree with this. I'm thinking homing grenade will be an ability like Prox Mine.

Homing Grenade
Arc Grenade
Supply Pylon
The (possibly) game breaking part is that supply pylon restores grenades (ROFL)
I don't know if anyone else played War for Cybertron (PS3/Xbox), but the "horde mode" character of Demolisher actually was the only character ('Con) I remember having an Ammo Beacon, which restored ammo which you otherwise had to buy (in this case, wait for grenade ammo to respawn in boxes).
Subtle reference? Probably not, but in any case it will either have a HUGE cooldown or only provide a limited number of nades before poofing away.

Better not nerf it, I want to feel like Chuck Norris
Thoughts?
Eh, we should wait and see how the supply pylon works, first. For all we know its nothing more than an extra ammo box that you can place anywhere you want.

Or it could be enemy seeking. You throw the grenade in the general direction of the enemy and it will find its target all by itself.
Well, we'll see next week.

With apologies to Valve:
Hey, look buddy. I'm an engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like, "What is beauty?," because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of 'philosophy'.I solve practical problems. [/b] F'r instance, how am I gonna stop some big, mean Mother Hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer? Use Grenades. And if that don't work? Use more grenades. Like these little old numbers designed by me, built by me, and you best hope... [deadly serious][/i] not thrown at you.[/b]

Since grenades don't have cool downs this probably won't be a problemxcrunr1647 wrote...

1. Just an ammo crate you can place anywhere. This does not mean unlimited grenades. It just means the Demolisher won't have to make mad dashes around the map to fulfill her huge need for grenades. You can just throw it down wherever you want to be, take the grenades and wait for them to refill to get more without having to make a mad dash. If this is the case, it's important that the ability have a high cool down because it probably starts with 2 grenades, and if you can spam it all the time, you'd basically be able to get 2 free grenades every time the power cools down. A high cool down wouldn't really affect the class in any other adverse way since its other two powers are grenades.
2. It could be like the Geth Turret, and add grenades/ammo to all allies near it with a timer just like the Geth Turret adds shields. In this case, the Supply Pylon could be attacked and destroyed. The evolutions for this type of Supply Pylon could be to have some sort of shock attack to those near it, or to give more grenades/ammo, or to give them more frequently. There are a lot of options.
The hope it's the second one. I think that's a marginally better idea, but I'll be happy no matter what.

It could also give you a cool down as to how long the next "resupply" will be.

It's MOST likely just a mobile Ammo Crate, maybe with a slightly faster respawn.
Don't expect it to be instant refills FOREVER
It certainly have some kind of limitations, unlimited grenades would be too OP. I think it have cooldown like the ammo crates on the map. It probably work exactly like an ammo crate (from the new maps, the ones that work properly), but you can place it wherever you want to.

Saying getting more ammo is overpowered is like saying unlimited warps and throws are overpowered why not have major cool down times for those or have limits on those?

Liaras, you can kill a single spawn with a well placed grenade, you can't do that with a single warp
To me if this thing restores 1 or 2 grenades each time it is used depending on a fair cool down and it mostly restores ammo I do not see this being op at all and to me complaining about more ammo espically in high risk dangerous situations where alot people make the regular map ammo boxes empty saying more ammo is overpowered
might as well nerf throws and warps because they can be spammed and may be considered overpowered as well

grenades don't have cooldown. If you can have as many as you want, wherever you want, it would be OP. I mean, without any limitation, you touch the pylon, it fulfill all your grenades, it would be OP. That's why I'm saying it will work like ammo crates, with a cooldown, releasing two grenades at a time, that kind of limitation.

If it only mostly refills regular ammo for my guns which I need since alot of randoms depelete the supply boxes fairly often I can't see how this op at all espically since I doubt bioware would let us get infinite grenades I mean we already have more with the gear

You can put it beside a ammo crate from the map, so if it release 2 grenades, you get 3 or 4 with the map ammo crate ^^ About normal ammo, it will be extremely useful in maps like condor, where the ammo crate don't work properly..

And I too am pretty sure the pylon will deploy ammo and grenades at the same rate as a regular ammo box, maybe slower. In my opinion it should be slower. Imagine the wonders this will do to playing on Condor, where holding the best spot (the top) makes for risky ammo runs. It needs some drawbacks.

I would imagine it does it on a 1:1 basis.
1 Homing
1 Arc
1 Homing
etc.
Seems logical enough, no?
