Tons of CGI hype trailers, canned presentations, ramblings of sales figures or other business talk. Yeah, amazing is the first word that comes to mind.

E3 has been about nothing but the businesses presenting there for quite awhile.

Given the publicity and widespread focus on it, of course the big companies come out with information on the moneymakers rather than the small and actually innovative material.

I'm gonna let my nerd flag fly a bit here and liken it to Games Workshop's "Games Days".
They used to be a place where you would see releases months and months in advance.
You'd see the more wacky, out there ideas and the more sensible ideas.

As Games Workshop has grown into a more "business oriented" company and the impact from their licensing deal with New Line Cinema for the Lord of the Rings has become more widespread, Games Day has more and more become what seems to be a scripted event.

E3 is no different in that regard.

Screw your opinion, E3 was alot better then it has been for the last 4 years. Major step-up in their presentations and whatnot. The only fail is the delivery of hardcore games, like Nintendo and Microsoft which just flat-out failed in this. 

However, there were alot of other great games and presentations and unveils this year that actually excites people, but I guess you're blind to the truth? 

And good jolly, they talked about business stuff in at a press conference, MY GOD- WHY DO THEY DO SUCH A THING?!

So, where is Comic-con being held? I've never had any interest whatsoever in any kind of event type thing like E3 etc. So I've no idea where, or when, or even why they're being held.
