You're thinking about the blurry effect on the left screen? Could be! Could also be some fool choosing a Geth instead of one of the new characters, lol. Hard to tell.

That is definitely hunter mode unfortunately, it has the wierd triangle like sign on the left and hexagon on the right side. Now I am curious as to why he chose a geth over a new character.

If you manage to beat platinum mode, you rescue shepard and get a reunion for singleplayer.
