What happened to good American animation like Batman TAS? Why anime? If it has to be anime, why not something more realistic like Legend of Korra style or something?

Young Justice isn't something I'm familiar with, but Legend of Korra and the Avatar series are incredibly outside the norm for animation, in quality and cost. It's not a standard.Savber100 wrote...
