Hi everyone. I one of the squad leaders for an ME3 group called N7 Spec Ops. If you need help this weekend and want to play with groups that care about completion then ping me. I play for fun and that means that everyone makes it to extraction, everyone gets their credits and we all chit chat and have fun. I have helped many teams beat reapers these last few weeks and if you need help and are on xbox live I would love to help. I am very busy till Friday as I do have a day job and a business BUT I will be playing quite a bit this weekend on Saturday and Sunday afternoon's to the evening. I am on the Eastern time zone USA.

I don't get why more people don't want another medigel. Platinum difficulty may require it.

I personally can't see why having six medigels is a big deal. If you need to use that many, the match is a fail anyways. Shoot, after having to use like three I'll just stop using them and if I die again then oh well..You'll end up coming out more in the hole then you were before the match. 

Plus, there's always that guy who when after everyone is dead on like wave seven will continue to revive himself over and over and over and over and just run around and hide when everyone knows he can't complete the wave and everyone else just want to leave and collect their 30k credits and start another match because this one is obviously terrible. It's just a huge waste of time and I'd rather that guy not have one more.

Your strategy reminds me of a quote somebody put on bsn about people using medigels

Three types of players
(1) Those who expect to win - will bleed out if its a tough match ( poor team or whatever )
(2) Those who want to win - will use all resources to win a match
(3) Leachers

I'm only interested in playing with type (2) players.

Proud to admit to being a type 2 player. Sure I got the credits, but seeing "Mission failed" because a bunch of lazy credi hoarders died out on wave 10 is unsatisfying when its only an extra 2 or so minutes. You still get the credits. And you have actually succeded, much better reward.

I would join you and INVADERONE, but I am PSN only....good luck to you guys though.

nice catch. i totally forget he said taht in another thread. well he'll be ruiniing teh fun for the other 1 million players who want to achieve the goal. Waffle, you would have made a perfect dictator back in the day.

what does it matter if he extracts or not, the conditions say "as long as one member extracts(any type of extraction)" so if he doesnt want to spend hes gel, buu ****ing hoo, use your own to get your ass up

If they made the victory pack worthwhile, i would. Once i have done one extraction with reapers when the event begins(and 1 as an assurance 18 hours later) i am switching back to UUG, no point doing all reapers all day long past that point.

I can tell you right now, my gang will all extract. We've been practicing for a few days now, and we got a good beat going. 2 Vorcha, 1 Phoenix, and 1 Engineer. One lethal combo my friends.

if he doens't want to waste a gel when he got money thats one thing. i'm not gonna fault him for that too much. The difference is he says he purposly dies after the objective (hence running up to a phantom for her to 1 hit you purposly) He seems to talk as if he is more then skilled enough to finish the game but doesn't even try. tahts the problem. if he got downed trying to finish and didn't want to gel tahst whatever but to give up is different.

if eveyrone in your party agrees and its not a wekend event then thats fine, its your game and it isn't hurting anyone. but if your playing with 1 person who wnats to play the game the way it was intended then your ruining the game for them. you can do all taht stuff you speak of in the lobby after winning. i've held in a pee from wave 3 until extraction and i'm fine with that,

There are planty of people who play ALL the way through. I try to get a full ectraction aas well. If I can't afford 2 extra minutes for the extraction, then I will either drop to bronze so I DO have the time to play a FULL game or I just do what I need to then play. But I will ALWAYS try for a full extract. Btw Warmachine I've seen you in a few groups I am in and would be fine with playing with you. Of course I have several friends I play with so, we just kinda rotate ppl in as we get empty slots. lol My xbox Gt is in my sig for anyone who likes playing for fun and actually trying to be a surviving team and getting extraction.

What is the point of playing the game?  I see a lot of the elite players on here are really only glorified credit farmers.

its actually double + 5000

bronze 15k
silver 35k (15k * 2 + 5000)
Goled 75K (35K *2 + 5000)

so in theory platinum would be 155k (75k*2+5000)

I just think an extra medigel or not we have fun as a squad and we welcome the reapers to try and kick our #$% any map!! As far as the whole credit farming we get our credits the fun and skillful way. Either we win or die trying by expending our equipment as seen appropriately. Omega squad is ready and awaiting for orders to assault any enemy in platinum. We will have fun and gain credits without crying about this or that like many have been doing. No cheating and no glitches or farming. Kill 'em all and let God sort them out. If we get a stupid random when we are missing one or two of our squad we let them do their thing and we accomplish the mission if we can.

OP: I don't think you need to worry about the sociopathic credit farmers ruining the Allied Goal.
The DLC is attracting back a lot of good-to-elite-players who will be playing massive amounts of R/Reaper/G this weekend to earn the credits to get the new stuff along with getting that =1 Medigel capacity which will be needed in Platinum.

ok so each map has good hold up spots that can be farmed (except jade. i cna't figure that one out)

goddess - from the LZ go up the stairs and the room on the right. only 2 ways in and lots of cover. 2 look outside and 2 look down the rmao

Glacier form the LZ go across the outside left then quick right that room at the bootm. 2 on each side a smash player and a player who can shoot long distance is nice

dagger - hold the snipers nest. 1 on each entrance and 1 sniping out the :woindow" call form help if needed and be disciplened


Thats 3 more easy ones to try. gold sin't hard if you stick together and plan it out. I do hold ups if my squad isn't the strongest but if its 4 good players i love glacier and eveyrone going rambo and clearing it quick

I find it kind of strange to have that mentality. As if how you play a videogame is the base of your integrity.

I mean sure, that's a exellent attitude to have when it comes to the more important things in life, but I can't really see the point here.

Or maybe I'm just not as passionate about success in videogames as other people?

I personally don't enjoy soloing waves or watching someone solo a wave for ten minutes when we could just get our money and start off again on a better foot. Whether that involves changing character, weapons, maps, enemies, or kicking out a guy.

What i see in this thread
i) Some people don't want the medigel cap increase
ii) Some people want the medigel cap increase

Those in i) want to retain credits at maximum efficiency
Those in ii) want whatever help they can get and will try to extract at maximum efficiency

Frankly both parties are plenty similar but i wish to point out that trying to guilt trip i) into helping ii) is silly, since the desire for the medigel is only from those in ii).

I don't care either way but i doubt bronze players will be happy with me firebombing the map with the QMI to extract at max speed so i wll just play as per normal

I will be farming this weekend ready for the DLC's release on Tuesday, but I will be aiming for full extraction as usual.
