If friends are on and want to then I'll end up doing reaper runs to extract but otherwise, sticking to my farm runs. PUGs on reapers is just asking for a bad experience and seriously, a weekend of that? No thanks. Way too many bad players to play random reapers unfortunately.

Well here's my suggestion everyone should play bronze against reapers which means you can get more games per hour in. Yes you will have to give up credits but that will be easier way to meet the community goal. Once I put in 3 or so golds to make sure it counts to get comm pack. It will be silver/bronze for more runs for me.

i personally prefer farming reapers, no stun locking rail guns, no hulking machines bursting you down in 4 shots and a missile. banshees barely tickle you. i can slap on an extra 2 minutes for that extraction

its your game, do what you want, but there is more to the community goal. we also get a plus 1 medigel capacity if we win (which oucld be handy on platinum) and the fact it'll help out new players who need that crappy weapon from the victory pack.

I really wish they would put an N7 back in like that one week so players like you would feel more compelled to actually extract.

I have a feeling this community goal will fail.

1) it ends on 10AM sunday. way too early IMO
2) most players don't like playing reapers
3) most players don't care about the victory pack
4) most players are selfish and only do what beenfits them.

I'm glad its not a real war and its make believe because we would never survive with the selfish mindset of some players

It wouldn't be bad. Hell, I wouldn't even worry about it.

Fear of various things helps, like combat, since everyone is afraid their first time and anyone who says otherwise is a liar or was never there. Fearing your NCO's when you're a troop. Fearing for your troops when you're an NCO.
Hard training, esprit de corps and whatnot all go a long way to ensure loyalty and discipline in a military.
An effective military, anyway.

You could almost say it's a kind of...

Marauders and Cannibals are the only real threat... kill them first any Reapers are super easy, but you have to leave cover alot to fight them.

This whole thread reminds of when I was in high school, all the dumb asses discovering Ayn Rand and all her bull**** and thinking that it was the greatest thing since color television. A lot of the types of arguments I heard from them are pretty similar to ones I see in here.

I'll try to do my part for the community goal this weekend. I'll be playing Bronze/Reapers as that is where I can enjoy the game. I also like to play through to extraction.

Hopefully I'll have an opportunity to get in the one Gold/Reapers match with extraction.

I'll farm Gold again later, when I'm invited, just for the credits; pure and simple; no apologies. Again, I also like to play through to extraction if I can do so without wasting consumables.

Let's all have fun this weekend and be excellent to each other.

no **** thanks for stating the obvious, i did not mention they were easiest to camp as "the path of least resistance" should have been obvious enough, and considering the geth are easiest to camp out is rather common knowledge on the forums. And sure ravager shots can by telegraphed except when there isnt a brute or banshee blocking your way anything happens, you did not point out anything in your argument that no one already knew xD

Hence why the pointless analysis to my comment?

there's a certain distance in the banshee's charge that if you position yourself right on the spot where it's too close for the next charge but too far for OHK, she just stops, and her warp shots don't even tickle vorcha/krogans. and brutes... do people still get grabbed by brutes?

Just summing up your post to make it easier to understand for some people. no reason to be a d*ck about. your comment on my comment was just as pointless based on your thought process. here is a simple thing. If you can't act like an adult or a mature young adult, don't bother posting. nobody wants a bunch of kids spamming the conversation with useless posts and being critical of eveyrone

This is a n00b question. Why would you not extract? I get the farming for easy credits, but what is the catch with not finishing Wave 11 & extracting? I must be missing something here, if someone could fill me in.

saves you 2-3 minutes "we'll say 3" of gameplay. if your doing golds in 15 mins and wiping on wave 10 at 75k credits.
that means every 5 games you play you essentiall earn an extra 75k credits by fitting in a full game in the time saved

some people only care about credits so it makes sense. but for me I like to win as much as i like credits
