only proper fix for this, BW needs to give us ping indicators, when that happens. dont play in lobbies where 1 of 2 things is going with the host. Ping between you and him more than 200, or packet loss more than 10%. as 10% (4-11% actually) is within the normal packet loss fluctuation, atleast as far as i have observed between overseas connections.

Be warned, Phantoms know the trick too, but since they don't move that much fast, it does not happen that much.
Simply hold larger distance. It's not intended behavior, but it would not be easily fixed.
I didn't know singleplayer can lag too... she grabbed my Shepard 4 meters away... so it's not just lag, it's more likely bad programming.
Really ? Now that's dissapointing. On the hand, if it is bug, it could get fixed !

That, and Biotic explosions cause her to drop team mates. You should always have 2 biotics when knowingly fighting Reapers for chewing through armor and stoping insta-kills. I actually wanted to ask about that. I've been rescued a couple of times, but I could never figure out what it was (I thought it was the Soldier's Concussive Shot). Is that the only way to save someone who's been grabbed? I've tried missile launchers, but consistently, the animation takes too long, and but the time I blow up the banshee, the grabbed teammate is already dead.
Or, (and tell me if this sounds nuts) maybe the Banshee grab could work the same way as every other method of going down? It's terribly buggy, doesn't work as intended, and I've yet to see anyone claim they like it. Maybe get rid of instakill entirely? It kind of screws the whole team, not just the poor player grabbed from 30 meters away.

It wouldn't bother me too much but she got me earlier in the match too. And a Brute grabbed me in the same match, don't see that very often.

On Standard Rebellion files (this does not include balance changes which ups the percent on some enemies, not sure which):
Banshee sync kill chance when in range (BAnshee will do auto kill when in range this percent of the time when it chooses an attack when in range):
Bronze: 30%
Silver: 40%
Gold: 50%
Platinum: >59%
