Create a character.

Choose a Race

Human, Asari, Turians, Salarians, Krogan, Geth, Quarians, Vorcha, Yahg, Hanar, Drell, Volus, Elcor
Raloi, Baterians,
Create your own species:

Gender: Male, Female (this choice not available if you are Asari or Geth)

class: (Geth cannot choose a biotic class, unless synthesis was chosen. Asari and Drell must have at least 3 out of 7 powers, biotic powers. This rules out engineer/soldier/infiltrator/grenader and heavy weapons expert)

Choose a class: Adept, Engineer, Soldier, Sentinel, Vanguard, Infiltrator, Grenader Heavy Weapons Expert
Random Selection of 7 powers
Create your own class.

Choose a background:

Underdog:
Typical RPG background. You are from a not well of background, forced into a life of crime, until one day you are given a way out...
Planet Bound: you lived on the same planet for most/all of your life
Explorer: you’ve been to every corner of the galaxy
Scavenger Merchant: You love stealing items and selling items
Mercenary/Assassin: You are a gun for hire. Someone need killing? Or an army that needs to be neutralised. You’re the man/woman for the job.
Soldier: Similar to mercenary/assassin, but you fight for the survival of your species and answer to a chain of command
Diplomat: your diplomacy skills are unparalleled. Your purpose is to prevent wars.
War Criminal: You’ve brainwashed and enslaved hundreds of people and have committed genocide
Create your own background warning, there will be no mention your background in the main story. There is also a very high risk of contradicting the lore and the game’s story

Now choose a name for your character.

Looks pretty good. Would be nice to get that in a future game, sadly there are too many variables, and we know how Bioware handles those :/

Okay so this is my adventure:

The Rachni are still around.
Wrex, Grunt, Liara and Eve are still alive.
The Geth/Quarian conflict was resolved peacefully...
...but I chose Destroy, so no more Geth.

The following 100 years:

The Batarians are almost extinct.
The Humans are far from extinction.
The Galactic Governement is powerful
The Galaxy is mostly recovered.
No major wars followed the invasion, however there is one happening at the moment (we need a setting for the game).
The Humans are the most politically powerful species (the Citadel is above London).

My character:

A Human Male named William Miles (okay I didn't have any ideas :D), powerful in biotic powers (Adept) with an Energy Drain function on his omnitool. He is an explorer.

Decisions from Mass Effect 3.

  • Rachni: still around
  • Krogan Genophage Cure: not sabotaged

  • Is Udnot Wrex Alive? Yes
  • Is Udnot Grunt Alive? Yes

  • Geth/Quarian conflict: Geth/Quarian peace
  • Ending Choice: Destroy

The 100 years following Mass Effect 3

  • Are the Baterians extinct? Almost extinct

  • Is Humanity Extinct? Far from extinction

  • Galactic Government: non-existent

  • Overall Galactic Situation: Recovering

  • In the years following the Reaper invasion, how many MAJOR wars were there: 1

  • Are there any MAJOR wars happening at the moment?: 1

  • Which is the most politically powerful species in the galaxy? Human, Krogan and Hanar

  • Asari, Turians, Salarians, Humans, Krogan, Geth, Quarians, Vorcha, Yahg, Hanar, Drell, Volus, Elcor other please state

Asari: Struggling to recover. With the discovery of the prothean artifect as the source of their technological surperioty, and the near total destruction of the their homeworld, plus the loss of their counciller, the Asari are a stuggling species. With other races trying to rebuild their communities, the Asari are finding themselves restricted to pureblood breeding situations, as the priorities of other species are to replinish their own races. As such, the Asari have become more insular, and more kept towards their own. They have lost a lot of their former hold on the galaxy. They are currently engaged in a civil war over the use of Ardek Yashi to attempt to silence those who knew about the prothean artifect on their homeworld.

Turians: Ravaged by War, the Turians homeworld resembles that of the Krogans now. A battered wasteland of fire and destruction. There is little left intact, and even after all these generations, the Turians find themselves struggling to rebuild on a destroyed world. Since the war against the reapers the Turians have developed a strong friendship with the Krogan, particularly because the large Krogan force that helped defend the Turian homeworld during the Reaper Wars. The both have a warlike nature, and a splinter group of the Turians has found a new home amonst the raging style of combat used by the Krogan. The Turian fleet is a shadow of its former self, completely decimated, but slowly being repaired. The current crises amongst the Turian Heirarchy is the slow decline of their moon, knocked from its orbital pathway during the Reaper Wars. They may soon be faced with a cataclysm beyond any the Reapers threw at them, as their moon collides with their homeworld.

Humans: Next to the Krogan, the humans are one of the races most used to suffering great devestation, adapting and recovering from it. They have thrived in a galaxy that is recovering from near extinction at the hands of the reapers. Humankind has gained a foothold in many sectors now abandoned by the former galactic council, establishing flourishing colonies. The human race has even aided in the recovery of the Batarian remnants, helping establish colonies for the near extinct race. Earth was one of the first planets to recover from the attack by the reapers. Even though it was the hardest hit of all planets, Earth was also the most heavily defended in the counter attack. The destruction of the relays left those races trapped within' the Sol System with no other place to go but Earth. With the help of all those races, and the remanants of Earths population, the planet was quickly restored to its greatest glory. The citadel above earth, hanging in its orbit, has been restroyed, and cleared out. The human race is now studying the reaper technology, making leaps and bounds in scientific achievement, and soon they plan on restoring the relay and using it to reconnect with the other races, and reunite those left on earth with their loved ones.

Krogan: The Krogan are one of the strongest species in the galaxy. Led by the Urdnot clan, they are the peace keepers of their sector. The merceneries for hire. They are the strongest military force in the galaxy. They say that if not for the Urdnot clan, the Krogan would spill amongst the stars and dim all hope. But under the rule of thr Urdnot, they have instead advanced. Their homeworld is rebuilt, and the Krogans numbers have already reached those of the days before the genophage. The Krogan are engaged in a three way war currently. One side is the overwealming Krogan Hordes led by Urdnot Wrex and his forces. The other is a splinter nation led by those who want revenge on the Salarians. The other is the Salarian forces themselves. The Abcesne of Urdknot Wrex and Urdnot Grunt, has led to the Urdnot clan taking an outside stance, attacking those who would cause splinter in the Krogan Nation, but also not defending the Salarians.

Geth & Quarians: The geth were destroyed by the catalyst, or were they? On the Quarian Homeworld, having made peace with the Quarians, when the Geth were destroyed, there was a great discussion amongst the Quarian people. The Geth could be repaired, but should they? After much discussion for many years, one Quarian had enough of all this discussion, and went and repaired the Geth regardless. They remembered what the Geth known as Legion had done, and they remembered the help they had been offered. Soon there was a splinter of opinion, but after the Geth showed that they had not forgotten, they were truely individuals like Legion promised, a peace soon came over the planet again. The Geth and Quarians shared knowledge, and a new golden age of technological pursuit bloosmed. Against the doomsaying of the Catalyst, Synthetic and Organic lived in peace and harmony. However, without any Reaper tech to reverse engineer, beyond that one destroyed reaper, they could not repair the Mass Effect Relay, and as such, have been restricted to their current system. Construction and research of long range engines are the main focus of the Geth/Quarian alliance.

Vorcha: In area's of space claimed by the Reapers, tainted nad near un-inahbitable, the Vorga flourish. This is the time of the Vorcha. An age where they slowly rise and evolve. Over the course of the next few thousand years or so the Vorcha slowly evolve into a race on par with the other galaxies races. Slowly they have begun to ascend.

Yahg: When the Reapers came to Yahg the Yahg had no help. Not that they needed it. Despite being a race just entering its twilight, the Yahg fought the reapers to a standstill, with sheer ferocity, and eventual understanding of their tech. Rather then bother with a race that was such a pest, and had no means of space flight, the Reapers scourged any signs of space flight and greater technology from the planet, including their own fallen's corpses. They then left the Yahg, and there they still are, the next great enemy to the galaxy.

Hanar: Where military might failed the other race, faith aided the Hanar. During the reaper wars, the Hanar used their Drell companions to delay the reaper invasion. The reapers met hickup after hickup at the hands of the highly skilled and incrediably dangerous Drell. When the reapers finally reached the Hanar homeworld, they found a planet ready for war, armed to the teeth with secert prothean technology. The reapers found themselves fighting a war on a planet unlike those they had previously encountered, and instead of the helpless undeveloped species they expected to find, they instead faced the weapons of their enemies from the previous cycle. Armed with prothean technology that the Hanar had been holding in secert for eon's, they managed to hold the reaper advance till Shepherd enginnered the reapers destuction. These days the Hanar have become a force to be reckoned with, taking galaxies with reaper/prothean tech. They treat their Drell companions now more as a lesser race, servants to the Hanar whim. There is a rumbling in the air these days, the Drell are unhappy, the Hanar are to blinded by power to see what is coming.

Volus: The volus did not survive the reaper wars. Only a few still live. The merchant guilds they formed could do nothing, for Reapers cared not for credits, and those who would fight for the Volus were struggling for their own lives elsewhere. These days the Volus are mostly restricted to space stations. Their homeworld's atmosphere was scorched, and they are now forever entrapped in their suits. Some see it as Irony, for the Volus often were known for their greater then thou attitude towards the Quarians, and now they find themselves in the same position.

Elcor: The Elcor did not survive the Reaper Wars either. Not entirely. When the Elcor refugee's, aided by the Normandy, fled the Reaper swarm, the Reapers saw to it they had no world to return to. They scorched the land, destroyed the grassfields, the tree's. All that is left of the once great Elcor homeworld, a green beauty without compare, is a desert world of glass. The Elcor themselves are spread throughout the galaxy, and find themselves becoming something else. The first few elcor born on low-gravity worlds have been faster of thought, but still great of strength. These new-breed Elcor have found themselves in high demand as merceneries, for unlike their parents, they may stand upon to legs, and think on their feet.

Other: The rest of the galaxy is now left alone. The lack of the Mass Relay's has caused Galactic isolation, and the few communicators able to reach the rest of the other planets are so prized and sought after that wars could easily be fought for them. With the creeping technological advance of the Sol System soon to open the first Mass Relay again, there is a sense of great anxiety amongst the galactic residents. Maybe they don't want to encounter the other races again, maybe they are happy on their own! How has the rest of the galaxy changed since then, and will those lost on other planets even be at home with their familes once more? So much time has moved on, and there is so many questions from the Reaper War's that need answering. Only time will provide them.

Asari-Rachni: At least one Rachni hive (who have multiple queens now Want Some Asari Land and find them useful/entertaining for research and possibly  reproduction (its can get gruesome, but I don't plan on giving too much detail.)
Minor note: Salarians and Asari are at peace but relations are increasingly tense, it matters.

7. Which is the most politically powerful species in the galaxy?
Humans and Turians are roughly tied, All suffered heavily from reapers. Humans and Krogen growing the fastest.
Turians and Salarians had the most remain initially. Asari still powerful but a Shadow of their former selves.
The Geth are technically the most powerful (having survived with damage destroy wave due to reaper upgrades and Quarian aid).
The Quarians are still settlig in to plant-side life and while growning in population, political power, and wealth they have actually lost military might.

Create a character. I thought of two, one based half on my main Shep, half on a Fanfic prologue I wrote back in the day and One based on my current fav Multiplayer character.

Okay another universe with a different character. This one has humans involved (unlike the last one where humans were extinct)

Oh feel free to create multiple characters and multiple universes.

Rachni: still around.
Krogan Genophage: cured
Udnot Wrex, Udnot Bakara, Udnot Grunt and Liara T'Soni still alive.
Geth/Quarian: Favoured Geth
Ending Choice: Destroy

Baterians: Far from extinct
Humans: Almost extinct
Galactic Government (Very powerful)
Overall Galactic Situation (recovering)
Major wars since Reaper Invasion (Seven)
Major wars at the moment (One)

Most politically powerful species: Krogans (who are now the rulling species on the Citadel)
All species have a seat on the council except the humans.

My character:

Race: Human
Gender Female
Create your own class: (Reave, Throw, Energy Drain, Tactical Cloak, Shadow Strike, Dominate, Sabotage)
Background: Underdog
Name: Preja Patel

The Story:

Preja Patel is engulfed in a major struggle for survival. Her species is on the verge of extinction and it turns out that none of the Citadel races are willing to lend a hand. They're too busy dealing with their own problems.

The Citadle Council is in a bad way. All the major races are bickering and the Council itself has become somewhat ineffectual.

To make things worse, in the last 20 years, humanity managed to anger the Vorcha, Baterians and Krogan. Human kind has been involved in 7 major wars against the Vorcha and Baterians recently and are now currently at war with the Krogans, Vorcha and Baterians.

Preja Patel is trying to find a way to end the war. But so far, no one is listening. Well almost no one.

Clan Udnot is willing to enter negotiations with the humans. They have recently called of half of the Krogan clans from fighting humans, reminding them of how a human known as Comander Shepard, cured the genophage. But the other clans are still intent of making humanity pay for a number of incidents during wars invovling their allies (Baterians and Vorcha).

Udnot Wrex, Udnot Bakara and Udnot Grunt will all pay a big part in the main story.

Prepare yourself. For the wall of text.

1. Rachni: Still around

2. Krogan Genophage cured

3. Everyone who could be is still alive.

4. The Geth and Quarian conflict is resolved.

5. Control was chosen.

The 100 years following Mass Effect

1. The Batarians are far from extinct.

2. Humans are far from extinct.

3. Galactic government is very powerful. The Citadel is rebuilt and the Council now encompasses all Sentient Races not just the most powerful. Even the Terminus has now become part of Council space.

4. Galaxy is mostly recovered. The Economy is on the mend and the population is recovering. Worlds are being rebuilt, even those destroyed by the Reapers. Reaper servants rebuild everything they helped destroy. Biotic individuals are at an all-time high in all species, following the Great War. This is the start of a New Galactic Golden Age, as more and more take to the stars and explore. The concept of Synthesis was introduced to the galaxy and now volunteers can undergoe the process. Aria T'Loak dissolved the Big Three and now rules the largest Mercenary group ever.

5. No wars in the years following.

6. More then three wars are brewing, but haven't yet broken out.

7. Most powerful race are the Humans. Let's just give a rundown.

Asari: The word's of Matriach Aethytha have finally reached the ears of the Asari. Asari culture has changed markedly. Their Siara religion is now mostly discredited or completely changed. Maidens are now no longer able to explore the galaxy for most of their stage, instead put to work much earlier. The largest economy in the galaxy is still recovering, as Asari realize the importance of martial prowess. They now look to the Beacon for comfort as they try to salvage more technology from it. They have faced some hatred and spite for hiding the beacon away. The Asari Republics have finally united and they have now formed a strong and central army. The Asari are trying to regain their place in Galactic society by researching advanced technology, even trying to create their own Mass Relays. The number of Ardat-Yakshi have greatly increased, and these genetically dangerous asari are spiteful for their position in society, fighting for liberty both peacefully and violently. The Justicar order has swelled in numbers, with some of it's older members rebelling against liberal reform. Matriach Aethytha, in the twilight of her life is the first Matriach of all Asari. Samara has passed and her daughter became the first Ardat-Yakshi Justicar. Liara T'Soni has abandoned her post as Shadow Broker and is a lynchpin Government Official, next in line for Matriach. There are those who still hate Purebloods like T'Soni, and those who believe Purebloods were the only Asari of worth during the Reaper Wars. Some Maidens are disgusted by their new responsibility and yearn for adventure, running away and becomming mercs. The Asari Councillor of the Reaper wars is still serving. The Asari daughter of Javik the Prothean and Liara T'Soni is a travelling author, looking for romantic adventure.

Turians: The Hierarchy is mostly recovered, surffering from internal conflicts, and basking in the glory of being a key part of the Reaper resistance. Regard for the Turians is at an all time high, many Turians grow up hearing stories of valor and bravery. The Turian military is larger then even in pre-Reaper days. A turian statue, depicting among them Garrus Vakarian and Adrien Victus, soldiers staring down the Reaper Horde. The Vakarian clade is one of the most powerful in Palevan, with one being the current councillor. Yet not all is well. The Victus and Vakarian clades clash for political power, with the Victus clade jealously holding onto the Primarch position for generations. Liberal Turians wish to secede from the Hierarchy, with the Conservative majority opposing them. The Volus and many other vassal races, have rebellious leanings as well. And as always, there are Turians who view their Krogan allies with contempt and believe their way of life is the best for the galaxy. A calm and stealy teenager wishes to go to the Citadel and prove her worth.

Salarians: The Salarian Union came under heavy fire for their relative abstinence from the war. Many view them with contempt for their cowardice. But they are one of the major players, not being as damaged during the war as the rest. But many now chafe under the rule of the Females. The Linron clan lives in shame for their ancestor's refusal to participate in the war. The Solus clan is also viewed with suspicion for their role in the curing of the Genophage, but they also seek Liberal reform. The outcast Lysenthi wish to rejoin the Union and gain equality, some dominance. The Male STG and descendants of the Third Fleet, contemplate civil war with the female Dalatrasses, seeking equality. The Kirrahe clan are some of the produest Salarians in the galaxy. The STG Seperatists are even in the process of uplifiting Varren and the like for their civil war. Some members of the race, including many Linron clanswomen, wish to bring the Genophage on the Krogan and then everyone else. A Solus male is the current Salarian Councillor and another is a young scientist who greatly resembles her ancestor.

Humans: The courage of Humanity, especially Shepard has galvanized the species. Earth was quickly rebuilt and for the first time in history, Humanity is united. The Nations of Earth were mostly destroyed and the survivors came together under the flag of the Systems Alliance. Terminus colonies, that had previously been Seperatists, were now Alliance members. Making Alliance territory, the largest in the Galaxy. The Citadel still orbits above Earth, and the Conduit to it has made London one of the most important cities in History. The Crucible remains in Alliance possession and fleets of Normandy class frigates are being constructed. Shepard, Anderson, and Hackett are hallowed names and the Alliance military is at it's most powerful. The largest non-reaper ship, the SSV Einstein a half carrier-dreadnought with AI and stealth capabilities, is under construction. Cerberus was rebuilt but as an official orginazation for the protection of Humanity. In an ironic twist an Anderson became the new Illusive Man and a Harper is the current Councillor. The Lawson family is one of the richest in the world, aggresively taking over such giants as ExoGeni, the Sirta foundation, Binary Helix, and many more. The Hackket family enjoys prestige and continues to be a military family. The First president of humanity, is a descendant of Admiral Hackett. But Humanity's power comes with a price. Terra Firma has become one of the most powerful factions in the galaxy, and there are many who would see Humanity conquering the Galaxy. In some massive station, these people study an old enemy.

Krogan: The Krogan has advanced past their ancient civilizations of old. Tuchunka is on it's way to becoming a lush jungle once gain. Kakliosaurs and Varren breed in abundance on the revived world. The thought of Krogan scientists, no longer induces laughter. In fact the Mordin Solus university is one of the most famous in the galaxy. The Urdnot Clan has steadily enveloped all the others, and Krogan now have a unified people. Krogan still identify their former clan as their surname. Krogan worlds have been returned, as Urdnot Wrex leads his people in their Golden Age. Krogan scientists have advised their population be regulated, and most Krogan are only allowed two children. Some chafe under this rule, thinking it unfair now that the Genophage has been cured. Krogan now freely walk on the Citadel without fear. Krogan culture has changed markedly, with many now pursuing the arts. There are old warriors who spit on this and believe Krogan culture should always focus on martial strength. The Turian CDEM is largely disbanded and now Krogan are building their first fleet.  A large statue of Shepard, Mordin, and Wrex with Kalros in the background, dominates their first and largest city. But Urdnot Wrea still live, and his lot believe the Krogan deserve to rule to galaxy along with wiping out their old enemies, the Turians, Salarians, and Rachni. Urdnot Bakara serves as the first Krogan Councillor and Grunt is the Krogan's highest General. Urdnot Mordin, a daughter, is coming of age in this galaxy as one of the finest warriors ever born and shuns her destiny as a Shaman. But the corpse of a Reaper, may prove to corrupt the minds of some of these Krogan. A mind that still retains it's orginal purpose. Even the great Kalros may be in danger.

Geth: The Geth have advanced to a point past the pre-Great War. The Great Sphere has finally been built and is even compatible with organics who wish to commune with them. It has monuments to Legion, Shepard, and Tali'Zorah vas Normandy in it. The Geth have advanced to such an organic point, that they now even have genders and cane synthezise new 'child' programs. The Geth have begun accepting all Synthetics who wish to leave organic control, into their consensus. A copy of Legion, a VI has been given the unit's memories, and this new unit wanders the Galaxy, experiencing wonders. A Prime (Named Optimus :P) is the spokes-person of the Geth and the first Geth Councillor. The Geth have evolved in unexpected ways and co-exit with the Quarians on their homeworld. But their new-found sentience has created problems. Now their are geth who believe that synthetics are superior in every way to organics, and wish to wipe out their former enemies. And there are thos who still worship the Old Machines. The Geth have founded a Shepardist Religion, which has become widely popular among all races.

Quarians: Quarians now live in a new Golden Age. The civillian Conclave is now the ruling body of the Quarian government as they have not much need for war. Quarians pursue art and agriculture with large enthusiasim. Their nervous systems have been repaired, and they all walk Rannoch without helmets. The one child rule has been repealed and the population is booming, even approaching one billion. The Pilgrimage has been changed to a Military Initiation. The 50,000 vessel fleet has been all converted to warships, making them truly the most powerful fleet. But not all is sunshine and rainbows. The de-powered Admiralty lead by a Gerrel is jealous, and wishes to regain their prominence and power. A Reegar leads the Admiralty and has to talk them down from their rebellious leanings. Many quarians, particularly of the Xen clan, see Geth as still machines and wish to conquer them once more. But others have become synthesized, which is advocated by the Koris clan. A descendant of Raan is the co-councillor with the Prime, under the combined Khelish seat. A soldier descended from the Zorah and Reegar clans, yearns for action and sets out on his Pilgrimage. In the valley, an old enemy still dreams.

Vorcha: The Vorcha enjoy civil equality thanks to their role in the Reaper Wars. The Vorcha lifespan has been doubled and now many enjoy white-collar jobs and the pursuit of art and science. Vorcha are recieving proper education and very few speak in their broken language now. Vorcha are becomming very common the Citadel and a descendant of Shisk is their Councillor. But some Vorcha speak in their broken manner as badges of pride and ind the new Vorcha soft and weak, wishing to return to their old ways. A sotf-spoken and gentile Vorcha works in an office and is bored out of his mind.

Yahg: The runaway Yahg on Sur'Kesh returned and broke free many more. Now a pack of Yahg live in an isolated jungle, rebuffing excursions to recapture them. Eventually, they became urban legends. The stuff of bedtime stories to deter naughty Salarian children. On Parnack, the Yahg have advanced dramatically. They have begun their first steps into space exploration. They now know of the Galaxy at large and some wish to conquer it. Others are different and wish to be peaceful. All are mistrusted by the united races, who keep a taskforce on stand-by on the outskirts of their home system. One young warrior, looks to the stars and dreams of adventure.

Volus: The Volus bombing fleet and the Kwunu are renowned for their role in the war. These fleets are being increased ten-fold. Din Korlack is celebrated as a hero of the Volus people. The Book of Plenix gives them strength. The Volus have been rebuilding the galactic ecnonomy, and many Citadel Volus return to Irune to rebuild their home. Some Volus are content with their place in the Hierarchy, while others wish to secede. Many wish to reform their clan structure and become a unified people. These Seperatists spearhead a growing movement of species who wish to go out on their own. A descendant of Korlack lives on the Citadel, not wishing to follow his father into banking.

Hanar: The Hanar are still rebuilding from the Great War. Many now look to the passed Javik as a god and their faith in the Enkindlers is renewed. Kajhe is the greatest site of religious worship of the Enkindlers, as even non-hanar now follow their path. But some Hanar no longer believe. Disillusioned by the Great War, they cry for the seperation of the Enkindler religion from the Hanar government. They still employ the Drell in the Compact, and the cure for Keprals is nearly finished. Some say that teh Hanar keep the cure from the Drell in order to keep them in servitude. A young Hanar who is bored with religious studies wishes to pilot a ship into the stars.

Drell: The Drell continue to serve the Hanar and help rebuild Kajhe. Relations between the two are at an all-time high. But the Drell played a role in the Great War as skilled warriors. In fact, Primacy ships and assassin numbers are at an all time high. And some wish for the Compact to be over and the cure to finally come. Most wish for equality. Many are openly rebellious, and Rakhana has become the base of operations for these Seperatists. One child of such Seperatists, cares not for the mumblings of the old, but to fly beyond the desert world wishing to paint her portraits and sing her songs.

Elcor: The world of Dekunna is being rebuilt and the Elcor gather strength from  their Code of the Ancients. The Elcor are closer to each other then ever before. Even now, some are defying Herd structure and advocating one herd for all Elcor along with speedier government. Conservative Elcor defy the liberal reform and advocate their prudent government and herd structure. Elcor Living Armor Divisions are one of the most imposing military forces ever. One gruff and old Elcor tires of the Military, and wishes to live in peace.

Batarians: The Batarians have changed more in a century then in the combined history of their race. Batarians now freely  walk the Citadel. Slavery has been abolished. Democratic elections are taking place. The Social Caste system has been abolished. Batarians now have one of the most liberal cultures in the galaxy. Their Leader Balak spearheaded these changes. Now passed, the Batarians enjoy unprecedented advancement as they rebuild Khar'Shan. But the Hegemony was not completely destroyed. The Remnant exist in the far reaches of space and wish to bring back everything that once was. A young SIU Officer wishes for some real action his home rebuilds.

Raloi: The Raloi rejoined the galaxy and advanced beyong other races, they themselves being left alone. Many see the Raloi as cowards for not participating and many Raloi resent the sideways looks given to them. The Raloi now walk the Citadel and a young and cunning thief wishes for something better.

Virtual Aliens: Along with many other AI, these Virutal Aliens were synthesized. Now they have regained their organic form. Their number is few but growing. Research has been made into cloing them naturally without synthesis and divisions have appeared between the two groups. Some of these aliens reject physical form and live in their cyber world. A few wander the extranet and cause problems. To this day, some volunteer to be vessels for the aliens. One day, a trouble making Alien was accidentally absorbed into the head of a young and pennyless Citadel resident.

Kirik: A race of biotic insects, these animals were given sapiance and uplifted on an experiment. They form a hive-mind and swarms of them joined together form intelligences akin to the Geth before their sapiance. These Kirik are biotically inclined and they have integrated into society well. A few just cause trouble. One swarm wishes to test it's biotics and conquer great foes.

Rachni: The Queen has returned to her homeworld and her people have flourished. They have regained their worlds and their people have been brought back from extinction. The Rachni now work as engineers the Galaxy over. Once again, their ships fly through the stars. But not all trust the old enemy. And some Rachni sing songs of conquest and revenge. But on their world, a young Brood Warrior sings songs of adventure and exploration.

Protheans: The Prothean race lives again. Thanks to the efforts of renowned scientists, the Protheans were cloned back into existence. The Collector Drones were repaired and eventually returned to sentience while still having remnants of implants. Javik lead the new Empire and following Liara's, created a gentle society of scholars and poets. They rebuilt on Illos where there future had been secured, and the population is small but increasing. They found the remnants of their old society and are slowly rebuilding. The Victory VI has found new purpose. But some Protheans learned of the old ways, and wish to create an Empire. Some are arrogant and do believe themselves Gods, leading cults of Hanar fanatics. And there is great division between organic protheans and those who are former Collectors. A young and headstrong Female wishes to test her mettle in battle and conquer great foes.

Thorian: The Feros Colonists and Shiala lived after the war. Shiala had stirrings in her mind and approached the Lawson family. She manged to regain custody of the Thorian remnants on a whim traveleld to far-off planet. using her mind as a guide, she found a jungle world which was the home of the Thorians. She presented the corpse of one of their number, and she was accepted. The Thorians found her form pleasing, and created their own humanoid forms to create and speak through. They wait for the day to join society, with some wishing to make peace while others wish to enslave. A young plant of only a few decades just wants to know something different then his world.

Keepers: Thanks to Reaper knowledge and Synthesis, the Keeper race has been given sentience once again thanks to scientists Chorban and Jahleed. Keeper #20 was the first to regain his mind and is an advocate for their equality. Many Keepers know nothing but their service to the Citadel, while others want to explore. Yet others resent their duty and wish to take the Citadel for themselves. Yet some races wish to bring the Keepers back to their former state. A newly born Mechanic hates his job and wants to be someone important.

Husks: Synthesis was tested on many Husks. This has resulted in regaining their former sapience. Many killed themselves and did not wish to live this way. But the ones who remained enjoy biological immortality. They are an oddity in the galaxy and few in number. Most simply wander the galaxy and do odd-jobs. A few view their situation as superior and advocate huskification. Even fewer wish to turn everyone into the same as them. A certain turian avatar was given sapiance but has no memory of his former life. He wanders the galaxy, a drifter searching his soul.

Reapers: The Reapers now serve as a peacekeeping army lead by the Shepard. The Shepard managed to create a half synthetic and organic body from which to speak. The Reapers rebuild and protect the galaxy, but many view them with suspicion wishing to completely destroy them. The Shepard is the face of the Reapers and calmly addressed the Galactic public and reassures them. The Shepard found a way to connect the Reapers to the Citadel and the cultures in Reaper form are connected to the galaxy again. They share their knowledge and research has been made into recreating them, the first of which was an Insunannon who wanted to see it all.

The New Races: There are lot of unused Alien Concepts in the Art of Me Universe Artbook. I'd like to see these aliens integrated through being former Turian Vassals, Newly discovered Alien races, Former Reaper races, and races of the Next cycle that are in their caveman age.

My character is a Johannes Black, 29 year old human male, of the Soldier class. Has the Underdog backrgound. He joined the Alliance and became a Soldier. He excelled and became an N7. He was the first part of a new Peacekeeping force that includes all races with the Shepard and the Reapers founding it.

He meets a group of adventurers and they explore the galaxy, solving conflcits and finding new worlds. All the while uncovering a Galactic conspiracy from an unknown threat.

(Refeering to above post). Oh I finally get what the last sentence of every species description means.

If you choose a particular race, there is a specific backstory unique to each species. Clever.

Rachni: Extinct
Genophage: Cured
Eve: Alive
Wrex: Alive
Grunt: Alive
Liara: Alive
Geth/Quarian conflict: Sided with quarians
Ending choice: destroy

Batarians: Extinct
Humans: Almost extinct
Galactic Government: Powerful
Galactic Situation: Mostly recovered
Major wars: 1
Major wars currently: 0
Most powerful species: quarians

loong story short: quarians formed a council, with quarian, human and raloi members. Volus is being voted.

asari: The asari are rebuilding thessia, and trying to stay alive. They learned from their mistakes. They cooperate with other species. When the quarians came up with the idea of the new council, some matriarch opposed, and they started a war with the quarians. The quarians, however, had their flottila waiting, so the war was over before starting.

turians: The hierarchy broke up to several individual republics. Forming a new government is on going.

salarians: They agreed on making a new council. They cooperated with the quarians. In exchange, they needed help to colonize other planets.

humans: As Earth was almost destroyed, the humans left are groupped in the United Kingdom, now renamed as Human Republic. Only about 15 million people survived the reaper war. As the Citadel still above London, the humans helped the quarians settle down on earth, despite being dextro. Estimated population of quarians are above 1 billion in both London and the Citadel.

krogan: The Urdnot clan finally united all krogan clans, and asked the quarians for evacuation from Tuchanka to an other planet. They now live on Terra Nova.

geth: The geth were killed by Shepard in 2186. Quarians salvage as much as they can, and allow the salvage to other species.

quarians: The new quarians formed council tries to not do the same mistakes, the last council did. They merged the salarian STG, the human N7 into the spectres. They highly respect the humans for helping against the geth, and acceppting a billion quarian individual to Earth.

Vorcha: They are an accepted normal species. They still live for twenty years, many scientists are vorcha.

Yahg: They were ignored by the council, for the agressive nature. Destroyed mass relays in their systems.

Volus: They helped restabilize the economic system, for which they are being voted to join the council.

Hanar and Drell: They help rebuilding Kahje. The family of Krios is the most famous in the history of the drell.

Prothean: Many vorcha and asari scientis reverse engineered the collector to rebuild the prothean empire. Javik leads the small species, counting over 2 million lives. They live on the asari homeworld.

Raloi: The raloi joined the Citadel Council after their re-discovery. They resemble the asari, being a full-female race, but their head looks like the protheans'. Some thinks they are the true descendants to the protheans.

Reaper remains were salvaged, and reverse engineered to help rebuild and expand the mass relay network.

Character:
Race: quarians
Gender: female
class: vanguard (biotic research on Rannoch)
powers: biotic charge, dark channel, biotic thrust (push x10), singularity, lift grenade, reave, warp
Background: Explorer/Diplomat
Name: Neela'Vaal vas Rannoch, daughter of the quarian councilor.

Mass Effect 3 decisions

United Geth and Quarians
Cured Genophage with Wrex and Eve alive
Saved the Rachni Queen
Liara is Alive
Synthesis chosen

100 Years later

1. The Batarians are far greater in number but were given refuge on Eden Prime to honor the sacrifices of the Batarians and to make ammends, since then the batarians have prospered and live on colonies thoughout the planet. It is hoped that in the future the Batarians will again become a proud race with strong ties to the alliance.

2. Humanity now has more influence on the council then ever, Earth has been Largely rebuilded with the help of the now Allied reapers and assistance from all over the galaxy.

3. The galactic government is now unified and rules the galaxy even handedly.

4. The galaxy still has a long way to go, but the majority of homeworlds and colonies have been rebuilt and are now prospering like never before, as technology rapidly advances the galaxy seeks to acheive a new golden age.

5. Wars

There were a few conflicts that arose shortly after, mainly between disagreeing reapers and organics that appose the reapers, the majority chose to help organics and fought for their rights against any hostile forces. Civilization began to accept reapers.

7. Political powers and major changes

The Reapers now freed from the catalyst grasp and have gone to helping the galactic community, the reapers are no longer seen by a threat and live alongside the races helping whereever they are needed.

The Geth-Quarian relationship has become one of the strongest forces in the galaxy, both live side by side in society with  a massive military. The technological advancements have given the Quarians the ability to live outside their suits and now the Quarian-Geth Empire has earned a prominent spot on the citadel with Tali's daughter representing their people.

The Krogan now live on a newly discovered world, quickly building up one of the biggest and most prosperous cities in the galaxy. The Krogan release aggression with brutal sport fought in stadiums but their military is always kept in line by Wrex and Eve. Eve is currently the representative of the Krogan on the council. To this day Krogan are still naming their children "Mordin"

The Salarians and the Asari have both become the less dominant races, with the rise of the Krogan and the Geth-Quarian alliance as well as Humans newfound strength. No longer were they major players of galactic government the Salarians still worked hard and became notrously famous for creating the best technology the galaxy has ever seen. The Asari are still finding their place within the galaxy and with the help of Liara as leader may return to their former glory and beyond.

The Alliance now resides at the top of galactic government, gaining huge respect from the rest of the races and becoming the leader in bringing eveyone to a better and brighter future. The Alliance also incorporated the Elcor and Volus and even the Turians  into their new "Alliance" which seeks to become more than just a representative of humanity.

The Volus were largely destroyed and left the Turians as an ally in disgust claiming they didn't provide enough help, since then they have incorporated into the Alliance where they have gained numbers and now operate the prosperous business market.

The Turians after having extremely heavy damaged done joined the new Alliance some time after where they worked together with Humanity to rebuild a once great Race.

The Drell and Hanar continue to live as one as a much smaller but promising galactic power, since a cure for keprals syndrome has been made a new planet for the now growing Drell population is not off the table.

The Rachni remain seculded but often provided assistance throughout the galaxy.

Although the different powers are still somewhat disconnected, peace between them is strong and one day it is hoped the Alliance will incorporate all the galactic powers.

Politcal powers:

1. The new "Alliance" (Humans, Turians, Elcor, Volus)
2. The Geth-Quarian Empire
3. Krogan
4. Salarian
5. Asari
6. Drell-Hanar Alliance

i loved this post! there are so many cool ideas!
here goes mine :D

Galactic Situation

Decisions from Mass Effect 3.

Rachni: still around and serving the krogans
Krogan Genophage: Cured
Is Eve Alive? Yes
Is Udnot Wrex Alive? Yes
Is Udnot Grunt Alive? Yes
Is Liara T’Soni Alive? No

Geth/Quarian conflict :Sided with Geth but since i chose destroy there are no more geth i guess
Ending Choice : Destroy

The 100 years following Mass Effect 3

Are the Baterians extinct? extinct, they have been slain by the turians
Is Humanity Extinct? Far from extinction

Galactic Government : Very powerful, ruled by krogans and humans

Overall Galactic Situation : post-apocalyptic. there are many plantes in ruins and the ones that can be habitated are mostly used for resources

In the years following the Reaper invasion, how many MAJOR wars were there : 1, the krogans decided to form a new empire and since they were so close to humanity now (becouse of wrex and shep) they joined their forces with the humans, who wanted to get their planet back to its former glory but got greedy along the road, and started to invade several plantes, the turians were the first but since their relationship with the krogans improved, they decided to join this new empire and they became the new invading fleet along with the humans while the krogans were the ground force

after conquering several planets the asari tried to stop them but they were too weak after the reaper war so they lost and ended up like the quarians before, a wandering race without a home, and the ones that abandon their pride and people became dancers and... other things (yay!)
the humans were the ones who took care of the new conquered plantes and became responsibles of getting resources for the empire and the turians became something like a royal guard, killing everyone who opposed this new empire starting with the remaining batarians and the krogan enjoyed the spoils

Are there any MAJOR wars happening at the moment? a few civil wars on some planets where the human opression is just too much

Which is the most politically powerful species in the galaxy?

Humans, Krogan

Background:
Former Alliance
Honourably discharged due to injuries while on duty
Earned a Medal of Honour for heroic actions
Retired and lived on the Citadel

Abducted during the Citadel coup a hundred years ago for a Cerberus attempt on creating super biotic soldiers. Not much known other than that. Has been in stasis mode for a few years after the Reaper invasion before discovered by Liara T'Soni on an icy planet in the Terminus System. Unable to deactivate stasis mode for a long period of time due to heavily encrypted code because a VI continuously add more firewall, but eventually were able to be neutralized and decrypt the code needed to end the stasis mode after decades of work by hundreds of scientists.

A rather interesting test report has been found on a Cerberus file.

Entry 03:
Genetic test results states that this subject is related to Commander Shepard. Would be great to know that (she/he) will be fighting (her/his) own family!

Krogan Genophage Cure not sabotaged

Is Eve Alive Yes

Is Udnot Wrex Alive Yes

Is Udnot Grunt Alive Yes

Is Liara T’Soni Alive Yes

Geth/Quarian conflict Geth/Quarian peace

Ending Choice Synthesis

Are the Batarians extinct Far from extinction

Is Humanity Extinct Far from extinction

Galactic Government more then moderately powerful

Overall Galactic Situation Mostly recovered, recovering and post-apocalyptic areas. All home worlds recovered, most planets recovering and some post apocalyptic without space travel and various races fight for survival and others for their own reasons.

In the years following the Reaper invasion, how many MAJOR wars were there 2, Human civil war, no other races involved, it was a mainly straight forward war, the side that succeeded has relativity the same views as the Alliance (but wasn't just the Alliance) and the other had mostly Cerberus views (but not all were Cerberus).
Reaper civil war, Some Reapers have committed suicide after the Crucible hit them and that helped spark the war, one side thinks they should coexist but the other feel they aren't the races they were made up of and want all Reapers to fix what they have done and allow them self to be cannibalized by the remaining races.

Are there any MAJOR wars happening at the moment 1, a mostly non violent war between Reapers is ongoing, all races are now involved but not all are on the same side, a few battles have been waged but by splinter groups.

Which are the most politically powerful species in the galaxy Salarians, Krogan, Geth, Quarians, Yahg, Drell. All races exist and are on the Council but these are the most powerful (even the Reapers have a representative).

The Citadel is rebuilt and has been moved to the galactic core, it has the Crucible attached to it, improvements have been made to it to make it much, much larger.

Many who died during the Reaper war were recovered and brought back to life with information recovered project Lazarus, David Anderson was one of the last to be revive and for that is still alive to this day but is very old. When the economy was repaired it became very unlikely to be revived because of the cost. Many people have tried to bring back Shepard and Legion (mainly Geth and Quarian for Legion.)

Geth and Quarians have an almost perfect partnership now and have made the best tech in the galaxy with small help from Reapers, they have a strong relationship the Salarians. The Quarians and the Geth have used the corpses of Reapers that could not be revived, the rest of Flotila that wasn't used to make houses on Rannoch and the reckage of the Geth dreadnougt and other ships to make one giant ship that could easily that down a Reaper if they needed to. Quarians have been advancing their evoltion to become more like the Geth but with biology, Quarians now sleep for one hour or less a day and sometimes don't sleep for three days without consequence, they stronger, faster and even smarter then before, they are on par with the Yagh in some ways and in other they are better. This has made some of the Yagh angery. The Quarians ancestor archieve was recovered and completed with help from the Geth and some Quarians are brought out into the real world again through robot bodies, not Geth ones, the most visted Quarian to this day is Tali'Zorah. Tali doesn't leave the archieve often, only to visit Shepard's grave.

There is a lot of mixed feelings between the Krogan and the Yahg, some are the best together and others kill each other. Wrex and Bakara have been pronounced King and Queen of the Krogan race since they have all been united, Wrex and Bakara use the surname Urdnot, Grunt adopted the surname Shepard and visits his grave in the Crucible every year. Mordin Urdnot is the Krogan Counciler. Grunt, in a very unexpected turn, decided to become a scientist and has preformed many experiment on himself. He is now a biotic, gave himself five fingers and toes and for some reason grew his tail. But his most noticed experiment is making his own Krogan Reaper from cloned tisue and dead Krogan, he's giving it his own personal look. Many people have tried to stop him, every single one ended up dead. He currently lives in a mansion on Rannoch, some peole have tracked his cash inflow and have found a large 'donation' from the Shadow Broker when he started his new career.

Liara is still the Shadow Broker but after the death of Javik, Feron, Shepard and her father she has cut off all contact with anyone she knew, anyone who knew she was the Shadow Broker (Apart from the surviving Normandy crew) have been killed. She is however part of the asari government and the Council.

The Drell are no longer in the Compact and no longer have Kepral's Syndrome, they have even terraformed their home planet to a better then former state, most are still friends with the Hanar. Drell have growen in numbers and are stronger then ever before.

All races are political friends, a minority of people dislike other races but are not part of diplomacy.

Batarians and Humans get along. Batarians are friends with most races now because those who espaced the homeworld that were never let off before have turned out to be good people.

The Keepers still exist but are not on the Council because they are not senteint, they don't seem to mind the increased size of the Citadel, they just made more.

The Volus no longer live in their suits, but remain largly unchanged by the event but most seem a lot happier likely because they are free, they still lead the economy.

The Protheans are back but in small numbers, they were cloned and sent to Ilos. They have communication tech but have not replied since landing. The Council sends a drone to make sure they are still alive every year. Javik died soon after the clones were complete due to natural causes.
