There are soo many reasons this game is awesome and I am looking forward to the KOTOR mmo with anticipation.
The tweens that know nothing about games or a quality experience and **** about this game because of their own inadequacies. Well, they will always be around, and they contribute somewhat to the game sales, but I really hope they don't throw around their trash opinions and ruin quality experiences for the real gamers.
thx, that's what I had to say. Bioware is awesome, keep delivering awesome experiences, and don't listen to idiot criticisms from game noobs.

Some like modern warefare 2 just the way it is and think of DAO as a long-ass and boring game. That doesnt make them less 'real' a gamer.
I however prefer DAO over any fps any day of the week.

The game's success speaks for itself. You really don't have to keep creating threads that fellate the folks at Bioware.
You are just a spiteful douchebag, arencha?

Keep making games like Dragon Age Origins and I promise to buy a PC version within 10 days of it's release to the public.
Yes, I am a real gamer

Oh I agree so much with that part. I'm 15 and most of my friends have to be fools cause they don't understand how real RPGs work. They can't even sit through a nice set of dialogue that can explain so much without going insane and skipping all of it straight to the battle, only to be bored by the cool fights somehow and whine for like 1 hour about how horrible it is to them.

Uh, I've played all previous BioWare games, and that's precisely one of the reasons I was a little underwhelmed with DA. If that means I'm not a real gamer, so be it.
what was it about DAO that underwhelmed u? I personally thought it is the best game that Bioware has done so far and the BG series was my favorite game series of all time.
I will be verrry hotly anticipating DAO2

Why am I picturing an aging, comic-book-guy-esque character wearing a smug expression and a t-shirt that says "REAL GAMER", but the begining and trailing 'R' letters both fold up under ample manboobage?
I already put a visual to myself:

Maybe you should ask your psychiatrist that question.

You're looking in the mirror. The monitor is to your left. By the computer.

You're Jack Black? Congratulations on the award man. Not to mention the flourishing music and acting career.
P.s.
School of Rock is terrible.

errr for those of us that cannot figure out that a visual is the role the character is playing... then that's great.
What if I said, "o, i'm putting a visual of myself as JAMES BOND, and post a video of Charles Bronson or some other actor who happens to make the point i was making. The Obvious response would be, 'so you're a british actor that is in his late 50's and likes drinking earl gray tea?'"
Hell no, I'M JAMES BOND B1TCH!
but FYI, Jack Black is awesome. get off his nuts

I came to this thread expecting such a show of sickly sweet twee and shclock that it would induce vomiting. Luckily, the thread also contains bitter-tasting remarks and accusations of douchebaggery which go a long way towards restoring the balance.
Well done everyone.

they went overboard with the npc development. keldorn or viconia weren't shallow characters but they also didn't need reams of dialog and hours of voicing to be interesting. i feel like i'm reading a novel in game format. hooray for the nice NPCs but if i wanted to participate in a play, i'd join a theater troupe.

Yes, well, implementing an amazing story with no cutscenes would be difficult. And, since they used your exact character/world to play the cutscenes in, it is realistic.
very genius use of cutscenes IMO. A much needed improvement over the NWN series

I am a pr0 gamer in every aspect, and i think this game was really "meh", and the dlc really makes the game worse, i really dont have high hopes for anything that they do in the future... Ea must have slayed the awesomeness of bioware.
Pro gamer eh? And what makes you a pro gamer?
Do u have a record amount of clicks in the WoW marketplace or do you spend your time hacking up Counter strike to **** about a story driven RPG game of a different genre?
