I play an Asari Adept Glass Canon, specced for casting and no fitness. I know how to coordinate and I can handle myself on Gold, but I don't really know anyone else that does.

I'm up for it, I'm not godly but I can do pretty well and it would be nice to play with people who aren't downright awful (all but one random gold game has been like that for me, I've given up on trying any more). I don't know exactly when I'll be on this weekend, or any other time for that matter, as I don't have a set schedule of when I play, though I usually play in the afternoon or night, sometimes late night thursday-saturday. It'd also be good just to have even a few people to do gold with in general, as I hardly have any xbox live friends, and silver gets tiring from being [usually] too easy.

I'd like to participate in the gold challenge this weekend. I've not tried Gold before -except for FBWGG, which from what I can tell from the forums doesn't count. I could definitely use help with this one, I don't want to be a scrub and have to be carried, I'd like to be a useful member of the team. From what i've read on the forums a biotic is the way to go for this challenge?

With that in mind this is what i'll be bringing:

Lvl20 Asari Adept
Health: 825
Shield:825
Stasis: 1,2,3
Warp: 1,2,3, Detonate, Lasting Damage, Recharge speed.
Throw: 1,2,3, Force, Detonate, Force+damage.
Asari justicar: 1,2,3, Damage+cap, power damage.
Fitness: 1,2,3, Durability, Shield Recharge, Fitness Expert.

Warp recharge time: 2.22 seconds
Throw recharge time: 1.23 seconds

I have 5 slots in all consumables (rockets, medkit etc.)
Weapon: Carnifex X / pistol piercing mod V / High Calibre barrel V
Gear: Commando Package V
Armor Bonus: Power Amp IV
Wpn Bonus: Pistol rail amp III
Ammo Bonus: Warp rounds IV

My recharge is 200%
My skill level is competent but not amazing.

Is this good enough? , could experienced Gold players tell me if there's any rookie mistakes i've made with the build, I have respec cards that I'm happy to use to make 'Boom-Boom' a better reaper 'sploder.

My GT is: bubonictheorc. Anyone that is willing to allow me to play on their team, please feel free to message or add me. I have a headset and will listen to direction on how to play.

Unfortunately due to having to work this weekend my play time is very limited. I will be available 8pm-11pm GMT (13/07/12), and the same time on the 14th.

I just wanted to add that it's great to see experienced players rallying around to help us non-gold players out for this challenge. This is what makes a community, a community, the willingness to help those that are not as good as you for the betterment of all of us.
It makes a pleasant change from a lot of forum posts i've read where the basic thrust of the post was 'Don't pollute OUR gold game you worthless PUG random scrubs, you don't have any right to be in our game cause you ain't ninja like us' This attitude is the reason that I've not really bothered trying Gold before.

Your build is good for the most part. People will go back and forth all day about stasis. You could easily spec it to 6 for the bubble, which against Cerberus is REALLY GOOD. But since you are playing reapers this weekend its not as important.

Warp you may want to consider choosing Expose at Evo 5. You get a 15% weapon and power damage bonus when you throw and hit an enemy with warp. I just find it better because it helps the whole team.

I personally run a 6/6/6/4/4 build and it works great. Good luck this weekend and go kill some Reapers!

I'm not super-experienced, but AA is what I run with. If you have a low-weight weapon, the increase to recharge speed on warp is pretty negligible, and piercing is more helpful against Reapers, where there are Brutes, Banshees, and Ravagers. I also usually spec warp for expose, but that's probably not important. Just figure it makes the big ones die a bit faster.

Also, personally, I prefer to get all 6 levels of stasis with bonus power on 5 and bubble on 6. This might not be a great choice for Reapers, though, since stasis only will work on husks, cannibals, and marauders, I just usually find myself relying on shieldgate/healthgate on gold anyways, so I never put much into fitness. Just mentioning it. Stasis bubble is mainly useful against Cerberus, so this weekend, it won't matter too much.

Don't take any of what I say as overly important, it's just what works for me. The most important thing is to use a build that fits with a playstyle you're comfortable with.
