On the actual OP - god, so many.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Baldur's Gate, Fallout 3, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed II are all up there and I'm sure I missed a ton that deserved mention too.

Not really. I believe in the IT because of it being IMO a very well-made theory with a lot of interesting points. The face-value endings bothered me a lot, but not to the extent that I would hang on to a theory out of pure denial. 

Also, that still doesn't mean you should ridicule him just for having a different opinion than you.

First of all, it was a joke. Clearly based on my objective experience of the ME3 ending, probably should have stated that...

Despite how good of a theory IT is/was (I believed in it for a long time too), the basis is, you were bothered by the face value endings.

Well, I don't play a huge amount of games (mostly only BioWare's and few of Bethesda's), so I may be biased here.

Anyway, Mass Effect is the greatest game, in my opinion (all the trilogy is one game for me).

Yeah I was, but it wasn't the catalyst that made me believe in the IT, as it has been for many other people.
